i was looking at paris, riga, tannilin or barcalona. Only want to go for 3-4 days max. I'll just put it on a Credit card intrest free

I put mine on my brand new shiny RBS interest free for 9 months card... still means that as the hotel stay is end of April, I have to make min payments on £551 until end of May though... then hopefully get money back end of May and - be in credit with RBS???

When submitting a claim, TAKE SCREENSHOTS OF THE CHEAPER DEAL. Prices can change very quickly so always best to have some sort of evidence that the deal existed in the first place!

Also bear in mind that you can cancel your expensive EasyJet Hotels booking up to 7 days before your stay with only a £15 cancellation charge.

This is a great thread and I'm thinking of trying to use this on a forthcoming trip to Las Vegas in the last 3 weeks June - has anyone come across any good possibilities for this? There are 4 of us so we could go for a quad, double or twin - I've tried looking myself but I'm rubbish! Any of the last 3 weeks in June would be good.

No worries GB - I got a screenshot of it and told them so on the phone. I think they delay on purpose so the cheaper hotel can get fully booked.

Just got an e-mail from them in response to my enquiry and it says 'null' and nothing else in the e-mail - most disheartening! Have e-mailed back asking for a proper e-mail.

Has to be an Easyjet flight destination.

For those waiting, the time varies from submitting the claim to receiving the good (hopefully) news. Mine took 11 days, had to fight (see previous posts) my wifes took 4 days. Good luck to all !

Re. Timescales - my claim will be 11 days old tommorrow with no fight involved. Got passed to HQ on day of claim without question.

I hope that they're not waiting for the hotel to go up in price on the comparison site - that would really be out of order because it means you can't cancel with them and re-book with the other site at the lower price (over £300 cheaper in my case).

I have checked the price every day and it's still the same. I've taken screen shots every day as well!

by the time they pass it to HQ they have taken their own screen shots and filled in the paperwork.

Just make sure that the website you book it with dosn't charge cc fee thats one point they have refused my claim on

Its all very well getting a freebie hotel, but you really want to build it around some cheap flights. By booking the hotel first,and this early,you are limiting your options when the budget airlines bring their winter schedules out.
