Id wait and see. Dont put the idea into their head.If you save the screen shots, you can argue your case later if it doesnt work out.
In future Id suggest, although it may be harder to find them but it will avoid this situation-offer a price match ONLY when there is one price. Not a high and low choice as in your case.0 -

This was the reason my Paris claim took so long. DIYTravel quoted two prices for the same room. Easyjethotels wanted to use the higher price. I proved that the two different prices were for an identical room and they had to accept. We just have to be careful that the price match we want to use is for the same room and all will be fine. I Emailed DIYTravel and got a reply confirming the above.

Your claim on our double price guarantee has been accepted, you will be
refunded double the difference shortly after you complete your stay.
Kind regards,
Stan1651
So my 4 nights 5* B & B to Barcelona in March will cost me under £40.
Hotel Princesa Sofia which is a little way out (nr the football stadium) but within easy reach of the Tour Buses and Metro, so not complaining.
Hope those still waiting are successful soon.
Regards

PS
Do you think I should obtain confirmation from Easy Jet of the actual price they have matched my claim on, as on my comparison site there was a lower price of £336.03 against the double or twin rooms under separate headings but a much dearer price of £619.58 against a twin/double room. Easyjets price was £652 so not much to be saved there.
In my e-mail to them I used the lower priced room in my screenshots and also stated a preference of a double room (confirmation received). Don't want to find on my return they have only given me the price difference against the higher rate which was not much less than EJets!
What do you think I should do?
i always email them and how much the double difference refund will be!0 -
My claim was acknowleged (eg sent to head office) last wednesday 14th, still haven't heard?
I sent a chase-up email on monday (the reply confirmed that claim had been sent to head office but they were still waiting for a reply).
It's now over a week - should I hassle them again or just be patient!
By the way it is a straightforward claim - exactly 'like for like' - I wasn't asked for screenshots (even though I have them).0 -
Id be patient. Id imagine their claims dept is busier these days:rolleyes:0

I received a e-mail on monday to say that my claim had gone to head office, still awaiting a reply.
On my sisters claim for 2 rooms i gave them 2 prices 1 for travelrepublic and 1 for diytravel. Travelrepublic meant that i had £0 to pay for my holiday. E/jet said there were not 2 rooms available and priced matched aginst diytravel, which means i have to pay £170.And they have agreed to put back in my bank account nearly £1200 but i have to pay £170.
I have checked with travelrepublic and there ARE 2 rooms available, i have taken screen shots everyday and i have e-mailed e/jet everyday, but i've yet to receive a reply. Do you think that there ignoring me.0 -
