  • I am waiting for a response to my claim which has apparently been sent to head office for approval.
My claim was made 5 days ago. Both times I contacted them my emails were apparently marked as spam.
Does anyone have an email address for head office. I previously used support@hotalopia.com.

    Thank you in advance. John

Eurostars Gaudi is looking a bit overpriced.

just come back from barcelona last night. I dont know what it is with Luton but since they remodelled it the queues for security on the way out and passport control on the way home was hideous. The M1 sliproad london bound is closed from the airport so last night and early this am i had to drive 4 miles north of the M1 and look across at 4 miles of traffic on the other side.

    Book Stansted!!!

Anyway, i started this post with the AB Viladomat, we went past in the bus and i wouldnt recommend it.
  • Still not resolved my Paris booking. They have promised to have an answer within 24 hours.

Good news is we booked Amsterdam in my wifes name and bagged a 4* hotel for 4 nights in May for nothing - just been confirmed !! Flights from Doncaster (30mins away) with Thomson for £82, for both of us !!!

    Thanks again TB.

Bob, how long did it take from putting in the claim for the Amsterdam hotel to getting it confirmed?

we booked our amsterdam apts on friday night, and stan the man sent 1 e-mail stating that he had accepted our claim.

And Anne replied to my claim and has sent it to head office, but i've not received any confirmation of them yet.

THANKS TO ALL who have given me help or advice. I am pleased to say I received the following e-mail from Stan today - he must be the only one working there now!

Your claim on our double price guarantee has been accepted, you will be
refunded double the difference shortly after you complete your stay.

    Kind regards,
    Stan1651

So my 4 nights 5* B & B to Barcelona in March will cost me under £40.

Hotel Princesa Sofia which is a little way out (nr the football stadium) but within easy reach of the Tour Buses and Metro, so not complaining.

Hope those still waiting are successful soon.

    Regards

    Bloaty

    PS

Do you think I should obtain confirmation from Easy Jet of the actual price they have matched my claim on, as on my comparison site there was a lower price of £336.03 against the double or twin rooms under separate headings but a much dearer price of £619.58 against a twin/double room. Easyjets price was £652 so not much to be saved there.

In my e-mail to them I used the lower priced room in my screenshots and also stated a preference of a double room (confirmation received). Don't want to find on my return they have only given me the price difference against the higher rate which was not much less than EJets!
