Cumbrian_Male wrote:My claim was submitted on 29th January, had auto reply, then asked for screen shots, this was sent to head office, then waited until 10th February for a reply. So 10 days from screen shots being sent up.
Took 2 emails to head office to prompt their reply.
Me thinks they are a bit busy at present.
Maybe a nudge to remind them your waiting. This space has been intentionally left blank0 -

I've just been messing around with www.hotelscomparison.com and thought I'd see if there were any cheap or bargain deals to be had in New York using EasyJetHotels' guarantee.
QuickRooms have got the Embassy Suites for a fair bit cheaper than EasyJetHotels for most periods I've checked, the later on in the year, the bigger the difference seems to be. If anyone is going to NYC around 16 November, the possibility of a freebie is there.
For example, 16-19 November EJH is £1401, QuickRooms is £698.80.
Embassy Suites is rated no. 14 out of 326 on TripAdvisor so looks an even better bargain!
I think you're comparing this against a more expensive double suite room. Thats why the price difference is so big!0 -
Hmmm EJH seem to be pretty competetive when it comes to NYC, I cannot find anything for 30/3 to 5/4.
Can anyone help me?0 -
i have had a look as well as couldnt find myself anything.0

Thats why the price difference is so big!The hotel offers attractive guest suites carefully detailed for the business traveler and family. All rooms consist of comfortable two-room suites with a separate living room. Approximately half of the suites have views of the River, and the others open into the Atrium area. This space has been intentionally left blank0

I could stay there from 1st till 5 of April for free as Totalstay are advertising for £1038 whilst EJH are charging £1949.
Are Totalstay accepted by the EJH price promise and does anyone think that i have a chance of having my claim honoured. The Hotel appears to be an all suite Hotel with the only difference being that some suites have 1 king whilst some have two doubles.
I await the advice of the sages.0 -
Not sure. They satisfy most conditions ,the exception being from their faqDo you have IATA or ABTA bonding?
As a retailer of hotel accommodation We do not require ABTA or IATA bonding which are held by agents selling package holidays and airline tickets respectively. We are, however, a reputable company and our site has been certified independently as a "safer shopping site".
Its probably time to add my own small print disclaimer
All bookings are at your own risk.I am not responsible for any losses incured from following advise I give on MSE or anywhere else0 -
Hmmm, I've just looked again at Quick Roms and they list a room described as a 'Double Suite' at a price near to that on EasyJetHotels, which is exactly the same as is listed on EasyJetHotels so I'm pretty sure they would say that the cheaper one would not qualify for their guarantee. Looks like you were right, meinnit :sad:This space has been intentionally left blank0
