Of course, but watch out for the cancellation charge, you want to book well in advance to avoid the possible one night charge when you have to cancel very clost to your departure date. I remember if you cancel well in advance the charge is something about £15.

More than 1 week before stay - £15
More than 2 days, less than 1 week - £25
Less than 2 days - Varies depending on the cost of booking

Just booked Majestic Hotel in Barcelona for 3 nights B&B from the 22/2 for £525 on Easyjet Hotels. It's £299 on Find-rooms.com.

I hope they look into it soon because I think it's a misprice on Find-rooms.com because the standard room without breakfast is over £400. I think it's meant to be £499.

Carl_east, I'm sure you will enjoy the stay as the hotel is located perfectly in the city center, you have a tube/train station literally just 20 yards outside the hotel, and one Gudi building 30 yards away (forgive me I don't remember the name as they are all spanish), and I love the road Pa De Gracia which the hotel is located, there is a lovely little place selling the best milkshake I ever had just couple of blocks away.

There is one gentleman at the hotel front desk is partically friendly and helpful, sorry don't remember his name, but he wears glasses and have 2 gold rings on his left hand, if you do happen to meet him, can you please say hello to him for me?

i thought hotelclub involed discounts etc for members which may weaken the case.

I didn't use the claim thing in the end...and did book through Hotel Club for £196. However.....its WAS with Ebooker for £200....in which case I WOULD have been able to have claimed...wouldn't I???

I have seen a few times on this forum that Laterooms can not be used for the price comparison. Most of the rooms on laterooms are bookable immediately online through the laterooms site so I wondered why people are saying this...? Unless I've missed something?

PS I have used this type of method a few times for Days Inn (who give you the first night free if you find cheaper elsewhere) and also with Londontown.com who give you £100 back as a price promise (when I claimed last year, they were giving 4 times the difference back - yes FOUR! (I paid £232 for a night in a 5* in London and got £253 back) It wasn't limited to the amount you had paid for the booking either. They soon changed that though!).

I think with laterooms the price they are quoting does NOT include the tax or other charge, but with easyjet the price you pay INCLUDES all tax/service charges, and they request the comparison site you use quote price with everything INCLUSIVE as well, which I think is fair.

From Laterooms website:

"All prices are inclusive of all local taxes"

oh, I don't know why then, you can check the terms&condition on easyjet hotel and see if laterooms match all the requirement.
