Hi all
I booked 3 nights in the NH Budapest 9-12 Feb on easyjethotels on the 25/01.
Cost £302, found the same deal on findrooms.com for £164 meaning a free stay for that weekened.
Submitted a claim 1 hour after booking and after sending off screenshots and got the standard "we are submitting this to our head office"
I have not heard anything since 27/01 despite repeated emails.
I have submitted an email to their head office today and hope to have a reply.
How long after this claim am i able to submit a new one as i am going to florida next weekend and to NY\Cisco end of march.
Yes this is my first post and this is an excellent site.0 -
Hi Lackingwedge, welcome to the site and taking advantage of this great post!
After you submit a claim, you usually receives the automatic standard email reply as you have received, then you should be able to receive another email saying your claim is acknowledged and has been sent to the headoffice/financial department for investigation, I received this mail within a day of my claim but it varies as I have read on this site. The final email of confirmation your claim has been accepted was received about 7/8 days later in my experience, some have seen it within 2 days, some even longer, so it's quite difficult to say. Especially as they are "experiencing a high volume of claim" nowadays, my suggestion would be send a mail once every day, polite chase them, also drop one to the head office as TBeckett mentioned earlier here.
You can only claim once every calendar month, so either you wait till next month or just use someone else's name/credit card details.0 -
Thanks for the prompt reply Cristal.
So will my claim come under Jan (when i made the claim) or Feb (when i am travelling?)
I have booked my hotel in orlando so thatg is not a massive concern, However, i would like to use this deal to get cheap accommodation when i travel to San Francisco 25-30 March and New York 30 March to 6 April.0 -
As far as I understand your claim will come under when you make the claim not when you travel.0

Thanks for the help TBecket100 ...
I contacted them via the contact us page ... screengrabbed before I clicked submit ... and put it into Word ... along with the screengrabs of both Find-Rooms and TravelRepublic ... then fired that document off to headoffice ...
Now we've got to wait to see what they come back with ... will keep you updated!0 -

Good man, I am looking forward to Barca in 10 days.
Just a tip guys
Casa Fuster in Barca is looking a wee bit overpriced.... ouch.0 -
MrChris1986 the way I see it- when you booked, find rooms had it @ £466 . That is what your claim is based on and you have the screenshot to back up your claim. The fact the price has now changed is irelevent.
Id stick to my guns on this one.Its hardly your fault prices change is it. You booked it in good faith, assuming their price was cheapest as they have a guarantee didn't you.
As Ive said b4, they are pretty fair. Once they see the screenshot, Im sure youll get your money back0 -

Hotelclub have it for £196 so you could squeeze another £8 out of them;)
BTW. I have found easyjethotels excelent to deal with when making claims. I've done 3 (but only 1 total freebie)
Their emails are courteous and as others will testify, if its a fair, valid claim, they honour it no problem
Remember, hotelopia only offer THE DIFFERENCE. You have to book thru easyjethotels to get DOUBLE.
Could i just ask once more for all you experts out there, is these deals correct. As i've passed this information to a friend of mine and i wouldn't like anything to go wrong.
Hotel club has now gone up to £200 and e-bookers also are charging £200 so could i take a screene shot of both companies.
thanks0 -
Do you think easyjethotels would still price match this?
4 Nights , 1 STUDIO - 3 PEOPLE - easyjet
Room 1 - 2 adults Studio Sleeps 2
Thanks0
