Thought I'd just let you know that I got confirmation e-mail saying they will refund double the difference. Hurrah - now onto the next. Does anyone know if they are bookin a second hotel whether they are only allowed to claim in one calendr month or not. I booked approx 12 Jan and would like to book soon as i really believe that this offer will be stopped.

Hi Joolz, have you received your confirmation before your trip or after ? You mentioned that you were to go to Barcelona last weekend ?
I am just a bit worried as I still haven't received my confirmation and is only 4 days to go- or I'll need to cancel ...

i hope not Joolz. i need the offer, about to get a 5* £1k for 4 nights for just over 200 quid. just waiting for the credit card to come, it can stay interest free until my refund

Got the standard e-mail before I went saying that they would be sending the claim to head office, came back from Barcelona on Sunday, hassled them today a bit and then got confirmation that I would be getting a full refund so don't worry about it if you haven't got it before you go.

Hope you had just as good a time in Barcelona as we did, so you think I should be OK to book again even though I booked the first one about 20 days ago. A big thanks for this thread.

Great post...have booked Barcelona hotel in March through Hotelopia for £354....checked Alpharoms and got quoted £223. Email off and got the standard "passed to head office" That was 3 weeks ago, still no confirmation, just called and said head office had'nt replied yet and for me to wait for an email....just how long does it take them???? :mad: :mad: :mad:
