Christal wrote:Thought to let everyone know that just received email confirmation from easyjet, they gonna refund the money after the stay, hurah! Now we can add one more website on the comparison list which is: https://www.findmeaccom.com
The deal I got no longer shows up on the website, so maybe easyjet had a chat with the hotel and they have pulled it out.....but if you spend some time on research, you can always find some great hotel for great price, good luck everyone! Especially those ones who are still waiting for confirmation!0 -
i wonder how close easyjet are to pulling the guarantee down (especially with 4k claims)....0

xixi, I know for me and hubby it's already more than £1K, anyone who wants free hotel better act fast......also to book well in advance, your risk will be minimised to £15 cancelation charge rather than one night stay, if you have to cancel.
Time to think about next destination, any suggestion?0 -
Christal, i am in the same boat... hmm where to next....
maybe time to crack greece for the summer or cuba, or.... the world is the oyster now.0 -
Well, I was thinking about something more like Germany or Italy, it won't make a big difference to me as I have only been to Belgium and Holland.........still loads to cover in Europe.0

Ive seen 4*Estrel Berlin - 1 June 3 nights B+B
Hotel club £213:j
Octopus £216 :j
Easyjethotels £576
Easy freebie as far as I can see.
To be honest, I no longer feel guilty about this. Their guarantee is clearly designed to hoodwink the public into thinking their prices cant be beaten and yet you have outrageous differentials like these.0 -
Just think how many passengers hit there site after booking flights.
How many do you think are moneysavers?
The few that they refund must be far outweighed by the mark upon EJH, compared to the ones we quote.I have a cunning plan!
Proud to be dealing with my debts.0 -
Thanks budgetflyer, berlin is one place my hubby really wants to go, definately gonna show him this one!0

A work colleague is travelling to Milan for 3 nights, 18-21 May 2007. EJH have the Hotel Dei Cavalieri for £557, find-rooms.com have it for £221. Difference is £336 so double is £672. The room descriptions on each site are identical (Double/Twin Standard) so I can't see a problem but am waiting for confirmation. I'll update when appropriate.
They also apologised for the delay but said that they had received a lot of claims this last week. Wonder why? This space has been intentionally left blank0
