Thanks for the reply though Christal, will do, it'll make life more interesting if they do accept Laterooms.

crd3000, have you tried the website listed on this post, I honestly havn't seen any large booking sites being able to match some of the crazy fares those website quoted, just give it a go check the dates/hotel you want and see what happens...0

Christal do you mean hotelscomparison? Yes I use it regularly. It's just that I have found a couple of London hotels for half the price or nearly half the price of Easyjethotels on laterooms. Same nights, same room types, same no of persons, board basis etc and I have matched Laterooms against other price promises. Just wondered. I guess the thing to do is try it and see

budgetflyer wrote:MrChris1986 the way I see it- when you booked, find rooms had it @ £466 . That is what your claim is based on and you have the screenshot to back up your claim. The fact the price has now changed is irelevent.
Id stick to my guns on this one.Its hardly your fault prices change is it. You booked it in good faith, assuming their price was cheapest as they have a guarantee didn't you.
As Ive said b4, they are pretty fair. Once they see the screenshot, Im sure youll get your money back
Cheers pal ... and yes ... you're entirely right ... I did book assuming their price was the cheapest ...

I sent my second "contact us" to them yesterday then fired off my e-mail to head office yesterday at ... 14:17 ... and have not been graced with a reply yet ...
Does anybody think it's worth sending a chaser and possibly being a bit more firm? Or rather waiting until Sunday evening ... meaning I have the weight of the :
"i) EasyJetHotels will confirm valid claims within 3 working days of receipt."
clause in my favour?
I do worry ever so slightly that - even though people have had success on the "Double/Twin" thing ... the screengrabs I have ... are of simply "Double" ... and the websites that I'm taking screengrabs are ... also offer "Double/Twin" which price-wise ... isn't massively different from what EasyJet were offering ...
Again, I know all I'll lose is £15 if I cancel (and I've got a good while before it goes up to £25) but still ...
Good weekend everyone!0 -

They are not travel agents I think.... they must be part of ABTA or ATOL... but that's only my interpretation.
"LateRooms is a booking agent for the hotels and other service providers advertised on the Site. Your contract for the room and/or other services advertised on the Site that you wish to book or purchase will be with the applicable hotel or service provider and not with LateRooms"easyjethotels wrote:vii) easyJetHotels will not reimburse clients if the compared product is part of a package, is shown in a currency different to that quoted by easyJetHotels, if the competitor rate is not offered by a UK bonded travel agency and/or if the rate is offered on a branded hotel chain website.
But mabe I am wrong, maybe easyjet would honor such claim. ??0 -
Thanks Christal and Dusan, your comments are much appreciated

Ok if its a UK hotel though.
As Christal says though, for a first one,the savings may not always be so great, but its still a saving;) just use the tried and tested ones until you get used to the process.
I saved aprox 1/3 twice b4 I got a freebie.0
