    Hello chicken!

This sucks about your interest, I guess you know about it now so won't be as bad as getting to your debt free day and realising you still have a truck load of interest to pay!

The pizza and chips sound awesome, plus you're so like me it's ridic!

Hope you're ok and don't let the b*%#tards get you down!

    Huggles

    Xxxx

    Hi poppet

Yeah I'm cool, I do feel better now I know mostly where I am and have proper phone numbers to call for them all etc. And I'm not out by thousands or anything so it could be worse!

My pizza was yummy it was the mozzarella and pesto one...mmm, I was so full though but it's a treat so can't hurt once in a while!

I'm good...seriously, feel much better now I've jigged all my budgets again (and there is now a contingency to allow for interest etc), I just don't like it when I think I know where I am and plan accordingly, and it all gets blown out the water!

Hope the rain has stopped in Eindhoven today honey and that you're getting a bit of sun like us!!!

    Take care xxx

hey chev, no, they haven't been charging me up until now, it's now with the new higher payments I'm paying over the minimum payments (the ones I would be making if not on a DMP) so they don't see me as in financial difficulty anymore so they won't do it. It's fair enough really, why should they? Just frustrating!!

    Thanks for dropping by x

    Moving Fund Savings

This isn't a challenge but nice to keep track. I need to save a MINIMUM of £1250 by the end of November. This CANNOT include any money from the payday on the last day of November, it has to be before then. I have budgeted so that I can acheive this from my salary every month, however the plan is to exceed this so I will be trying to top it up here and there, for example:
    - at the end of a month, move all little bits left in my current account over to the ISA for the moving fund
    - when my Terramundi fills up and I open it, I plan to take some for a Wii Fit, some to buy a new one (!) and the rest is for moving fund
    - if I earn vouchers from surveys etc then I should use them to buy presents and use the money I have set aside to cover, e.g. £10 voucher spent on Amazon = £10 from Entertainment budget (temporarily where presents are coming from) into moving fund

    Cut Off Date:
    29th November 2011

I don't want to cancel DMP at the mo as two of the smaller debts are nasty ones - one is a DCA for an old phone bill and charges (the DCA is Credit Solutions Ltd which is associated with Cougar...don't want to contact them unless I absolutely have to) and the other one is WDA which is a payday loan. I really don't want to contact either of these until I have to so we'll see how it goes. I've now finally got my balance on the fourth "OK" debt, which is an old Santander overdraft, and whereas CCCS thought the balance was 283, they told me it was 591, however then we worked out that wasn't showing this months payment which seems high for the amount ofdebt, which was 113, so balance is 477.86 - still nearly double what I thought :( however on the plus side they are 0% and are honouring this until it is paid off, so that's one piece of good news.

I'm so bummed about it really, feels like I've just wasted 400 this month, although technically I haven't, I just know about it now!

Hey ho, I feel a bit happier now I've jigged my budgets again.

My mum and dad randomly went away for a couple of nights this morning, so have the house to myself this weekend which is lovely, and I'm being really naughty and having Dr Oetker pizza (half price), Tesco Finest chips (notMSE at all!!) and wine (worth £7 but bought on 3 for £12 offer) for my tea to cheer myself up!!! I shall also watch a film but I don't know which one yet!

    Have a great evening x

awww ((hugs)) hun, glad you are feeling a bit better about it now. Your right it makes more sense to finish paying off the smaller ones first before chucking all you have at the bigger ones :)

And that is exactly what i had for lunch one of those pizzas :o;) not very good for the diet but hey ho we all deserve a treat every now and then :rotfl:

Oh noes that's rubbish! Don't let them get you down or take over your life, no doubt they don't pay you enough for that! PM me if you need a virtual hug at any point!

Thought I'd bite the bullet and get the challenge up and running, hope you don't mind, just thought it would be good to get it up and ready for the new month!

Have you got the DMP sorted yet? Do you know the full scale of it yet?

Glad to have you back, I've missed you!

Course I don't mind you doing the challenge silly bean!!! This week is better thank you, not great, butbetter!

I won't know the full scale of the DMP until right at the end - I refuse to ring the DCA or the PDL co as they might demand a current address off me and I can't give it to them, so I'll just have to hope it's all ok!!! I've allowed a large contingency in my new "budgeting" although not sure you can call it that when you never stick to it!

Missed you too poppet, I never seem to get chance to come on here much at the moment, sucks! xxxxxxxxx
