I've also had my order cancelled but have just noticed that the've already debited my account of £2.70! I'm emailing them right now to sort this out-what a shambolic company!

hi been charged as i paid for delivery , just recieved email to say item on its way so used the tracking number with lynx , it is saying my package is 2.3kg in weight so i think i may recieve my bubbles , if this is any help to anyone they can check there own weights that way you should be able to tell if you will be recieving an empty box

I didn't have to pay for postage as I used a code but did order 2 eyeshadows as well as the bubblebath but received an e-mail on the 10th of December saying that the whole order was cancelled. Now they've debited my account anyway-What is going on with them????I have e-mailed them saying that I wasnt happy and want a full refund so I'll let you all know what comes of it.

I checked mine yesterday. My parcel is apparently 1.7kg so a bit heavy for just 2 mascaras. How many bubbles did you order?

I placed two seperate orders with Avon, both had 2 sets of Bubblebath, both have been debited from my card.

I have not received even 1 email from them, not to confirm my order or any despatch note

I checked on the Avon site and 1 order has been despatched and it apparently weighs 2.3 kg, I live in hope....

Dear Sir / Madam,

I have just received my order minus the bubble bath that I ordered. The note in the delivered box was my first indication that my full order was not going to be fulfilled. Having charged my card and not giving me any prior advice of alteration to the order, from the little I know of consumer law, I understand that by charging my card and entering into a contract you are responsible to complete the whole order, irrespective of your errors.

I am very disappointed that such a popular and respected company is acting in such a unacceptable and underhanded manner. I am more distressed after it has been brought to my attention about the security lapses on your site, which means that anyone can see my name, address and e-mail address. I am only relieved that my debit card details are not on there.

Again, I draw you to the fact that having charged my card, you were liable to send out the WHOLE ORDER. You failed to advise me prior to despatch & simply shoving a note in the box for me to discover upon delivery is quite simply not acceptable.

I am understand that it was an error on your part, however by charging my card without advising me of the alteration to the order, you entered into a contract to supply all the items on the order that the payment related to.

Therefore I look forward to you correcting this by sending me the free bubble baths.

I await your response before taking this up with the relevant trading standards department. I feel that three days is a reasonable amount of time for a response.

well what liars just recieved my avon order .. well a book and it certainly does not weigh 2.3 kg so ihave paid 3.50 for a catalogue and im NOT happy at all

Just checked on Lynx and apparently my parcel weight is 3.1 but nothing about whether it is KG's. Maybe it's ounces!!!

PS The Lynx site says its been 'out for delivery' for two days!?
