::j I finally received a call from Avon coustomer service today offering me my money back and apologising for their poor service. I did not give up and finally gave them 24 hours to satisfactory end this matter or else I would instruct trading standard to commence their investigation. In 10 minutes of receiving that email I received a call and my moneies re-inbursed.::j

DO NOT GIVE UP! I WAS DETERMINED TO GET A POSITIVE OUTCOME

Just check my account as yes Avon has paid my postage back. Did anyone else had a positive outcome?

    Hi,

I ordered 4 bubble baths and entered a code for a free glimmer stick. Yes, you've guessed it- huge box arrived with a tiny glimmer stick. £3.50 debited form my card. I complained via email and got the standard response from Avon saying that £3.50 is their standard charge. Then I complained again stating that as far as they were concerned the error on their site meant that I had not actually ordered anything from them, so I said that as the gift was considered free after having ordered something, theyshould not have sent me a free gift and so i should not have paid the postage. I also made a point about it being a huge waste of resources to send such a huge box with a tiny glimmer stick in and that it was very unfriendly to the environment. I have just received an email stating that on this occasion they have arranged to have my card credited with the postage cost.

I also asked to be removed from their mailing list as I think this is awful customer service.
