Tiff files don't always work either - I generally use those. Usually all but one page is accepted but the one which isn;t can be very hard to send.

However, the one good thing is that I always DO get a response - even if it's a nonsense one - so I can take appropriate action immediately. The thing with any dealer if that you have to be on top of it all of the time and not be lulled into a sense of false security or get diverted but what they say rather than what they should be doing. That's the price you pay for successfully manouvering through cashback deals.

Just an update (as I've been away from the UK for a while), I'll be restoring my backup this weekend to get the auto replies from mobiles.co.uk, not sure where to go from there, either to mobiles.co.uk direct or small claims? I'd like to make their life as difficult as possible.

I'm confident of 1 thing, that I won't be buying anything from mobiles.co.uk again, and I'll do all I can possibly do to put others off buying from them as well. I feel an anti-mobiles.co.uk website coming on ;)

    Lol! Just like old times...

As to the what to do next, send a proper LBA and then (provided your proof is solid) commence legal procedings. I'm already part way down that x2 although in my case it will take a little longer. I'm looking forward to it!

The email I sent was via the website. I have emailed them directly and requested acknowldegment of the submission.

I originally sent a PDF file (opened in Adobe) and subsequently as a jpeg (I can also provide tiff or bitmap if they want!)

Just silence so far, seems impossible to get any response at all apart from incorrect documents.
    Hi Flounder,
PDF is def. a correct format that they accept so would have been ok.

Re the silence I note as usual the Rep has read the post and failed to respond ;)

Absolutely devastated Sent claim to mobiles uk for over £100 in good time Didnt like email process as harder to prove but no option of recorded delivery Got reply saying it wasnt right format postcode missing Sent further 3 pages of of vodaphone bill with all data on and got acceptance email on 17th april saying it was accepted and booked in They tell you to wait 40 days so I did I phoned today only to be told my second submission had been rejected as wrong format They claim to have emailed again on 23rd to reject but I was monitoring closely and there was no email Surprise surprise given previous posts this seems to be a deliberate way of avoiding paying Never had any problem with E 2 save so not cashback newby but this is shocking Every time I emailed using there site I get auto response saying not monitored Really upset and plan to go to trading standards with it Now got reply from them saying they had sent an further email after the booked in one which of course they hadnt saying wrong format . Dont know what else to do They havent sent me a copy of that email as requested no doubt because it never existed I will be contacting trading standards BUT Be warned Its common practice it seems from this site .
