Hope Mobiles.co.uk take notice of the "simple secret", they may then realise that all the info sent that they requested was enclosed correctly, accurately and on time.
I've never made an error yet.............unlike them.

Yep! If only it were THAT simple. Most of the time it is - BUT.....!
The REAL moral is follow the groundrules precisely, don't always believe what they tell you and act immediately if they don't follow their t&c (the ones you signed up to, not whatever they may come out with at some later date - another cpw trick).0 -
Yes to be fair even if you do exactly as requested on the tin they can easilly make mistakes - and quite often it would seem.
I can only say that I've been lucky in that each interaction with them has gone smoothely apart from me sending the wrong bill page on one occaison.
Got my 3 confirmation emails the final one stating that the cheque is in the post. Whoo0 -
Unfortunately it isn't merely "mistakes"; it has been widespread and clear-cut denial of t&c and attempting to move the goal-posts, lose valid claims received and all sorts of other deliberate things. As long as you follow the groundrules you can get paid - but it is a mistake to ever believe you'll always be safe just by sending things correctly etc. Whatever a dealer - especially a cpw one with its track record - seems to be doing correctly I will never trust them, preferring to rely on my own rules rather than theirs. That is why (going back to the original post on this thread) I would NEVER enter into any cashback contract without thoroughly understanding it first - and a lot more - and then covering myself every step of the way.0

If you can use the email process. in order to prove you have got it right on your end, take a screenshot of what you type into the fields on the cashback claim form.
https://securesite.mobiles.co.uk/submit-bill.html
Also take screenshot of when you have clicked Submit.
If you are within 60 days, you might want to try the above - its worked for me. Get acknowledgment email to say received (not processed), then another email "booked-in" and finally another to say its been paid. If you choose to try this, ensure you have a bill in PDF format (that is best) - otherwise an image (jpg file) screenshot of the first page of your bill showing your address details, mobile account, tariff and the bill amount for that month.
In terms of contacting them you might wish to try this

If it WAS an "acceptance" of claim email then end of story. They have to and will pay when you threaten to sue. If it wasn't an acceptance there's nothing you can do if you're outside the timeframe; as I have been warning people for years simply sending bills in at the right times does not guarantee they will pay - and that applies to ALL dealers - including/especially other cpw clones like E2Save. You will find an army of people from times past who suffered worse from them than your treatment in this instance.
If you're within the 60 days of the bill date you can still send the FULL bill - I NEVER send part of it - by recorded (or special delivery with consequential loss cover) IF it should reach them within the 60 days.
Once again, you need to follow all my groundrules, not theirs - then you can always take action very early when things aren't right - and you would know they aren't right if they haven't confirmed ACCEPTANCE pretty early in the process.0 -
I'm just embarking on this wonderous journey with mobiles.co.uk
I sent the email with the pdf file attached for the correct month and was told immediately the format of the attached file was wrong and the claim was rejected.
I contacted them via their website (no record of that) to say the file was definitely PDF...no repsonse.
I resubmitted the bill in a new format (I have scanned the paper bill I downloaded and saved it as a jpeg, bitmap and tiff image so they could have their choice)...no repsonse or automated reply to say the attachment has been received/rejected.
Contacted them again (via website) to see if they received the bill and now waiting.
I will now only contact them by email from Live Mail so I have a record of the correspondence (is one way emailing a correspondene?)
I am tempted to just send a paper copy to the address for good measure but the request is to wait 28 days. This takes up a good portion of the 60 days allowed.
Should I just wait and let this run it's course for a few days before hitting the ALARM button? I was very wary of this deal as I entered it but I thought I'm approaching it eyes wide open so I should be ok.

When you say "email" do you mean using the online cashback submission form https://securesite.mobiles.co.uk/submit-bill.html or regular email like sending from hotmail/yahoo etc..
The latter will not work.0
