I would have confronted him and told him to grow up and stick to scanning !!!!!! all night rather than chatting up fellow workers who may have issues which can go horribly wrong in an 'harrassment' case at work. Everything he has sent her is now recorded and could backfire as he is obviously in a senior position to her. If she goes down to the hotel and he says yes then he is open to blackmail.... if he says no and she causes a scene / spreads it at work he would be in deep crap. How will he explain him a married man in a senior position sending sexy messages all night to engaged junior staff? If he loses his job it is your lifestyle that gets effected. I know a bloke in a very senior position having an affair with a secretary...... one night in the restaurant he went to the toilet leaving his phone on the table. His phone somehow dialed home, as they do, and when he got back his wife listened to his sexy conversation and packed his bags.

As for men treating her badly it sounds like trying to betray her partner with a married man is her asking for trouble. When he gets back have a quiet night in, a bottle of wine and a DVD..... Fatal Attraction is a good film.
