Joke or not it's still disgusting and unacceptable.

Whilst I do appreciate the joke and meaning behind it - it could backfire though - there again, the ratio of men trying to find women is far outweighed by women wanting men - the OP would have much more luck :)

TBH, I wasn't really joking. Her OH's response to this kind of question is far more likely to give the OP some insight into his real state of mind. Better than if she has the predictable rant and he goes on the defensive and hides what he is doing more carefully in future.

It will also open the discussion about why he left it for her to find. (Is he trying to say something?)

It is unlikely the OH would expect this kind of approach and I think sometimes an unpredicted response makes other people think far more carefully about the consequences of their behaviour in situations like this.
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

Nobody has said to smash his skull in with a claw hammer. 'Kick him in the balls' or 'squeeze his balls enough to make his eyes water' is clearly not a serious suggestion.

The only contributions you have made to this discussion, that I can find, are the same 3 comments that aren't really relevant. Domestic violence is not the 'topic'.

OP how are you feeling today? Have you decided what to do?

Then why even say it? It's not big and it's not clever

The OP should hope that the female work colleague isn't so hacked off that she complains to her employer that she's been sexually harrassed by the OP's husband. No knowing what a woman scorned might be capable of, and the onus will be on him to prove that she led him on and he isn't guilty.

Copy the chat forward to her fiance.. then chew hubbys ears off.. She is no more at fault than he is it is a 2 way conversation he didn't tell her to shut up the minute she started he continued egging her on.. equal blame applied.. so I'd make sure both were getting grief over it. Her poor fiance obviousy doesn't know she doesn't love him very much.. so I'd make sure he did! Save the poor guy from a lifetime of misery.

He fancied a bit of ego stroking and she was stupid enough to do it.. so now they both get it in the neck.

But then I said nothing while my XH slept with another woman for 3 months before he left.. she dumped him less than a week after he went PMSL..

    Act now!

Yes, I'd go with copying the chat to her partner, although was it facebook chat or messages? If it's messages it's easy enough.

The OP should be hoping only his ego was being stroked during the 'chat'.

Ask him !!!!!! he was playing at.

That's not flirting IMO, that's on the verge of cyber sex.

Forward the lot to her fiance. Message the scrag end to tell her to stay the fk away from your man.

Depending on how recently it happened, facebook have (in the last week) integrated chat and messages, so any chats are saved to the message history, and when you open a chat box, it shows your message history
