Ooookay
First off it sounds like you want a maid and not a husband
Secondly men don't leave mess for women, we don't even see the mess, the mess has an importance rating of 0/100
Mess is as important to men as power tools are to women
Does that mean i should be less impressed with my hammerdrill than I am? And I LOVE the screwdriver attachment.. and the orbital sander is cute but the belt sander is killer.. I LOVE it.. but I must admit my favourite bit of kit... the jigsaw thing... chops the blinds to size, the lock off the french doors and prunes my bush!
And I'd rather have a maid than a husband too!

You do your children no favours by doing everything for them.I married a right mummys boy who could do nothing for himself. Thanks to his mother never teaching him.
As I have said, my mother would do everything given half a chance. However, she also made sure that my siblings (girls) and I could look after ourselves. None of us have grown up to be a 'problem'... as I am sure my wife and my sisters' husbands will testify.
(Yes, I have checked this post for accuracy with my wife before I posted)

All the man bashing!!! very sexist I must say
Men hate cleaing because when we actually do tidy stuff up our wives moan that we haven't done it propperly. Imagine tidying the whole house and then being asked why you haven't tidied the house as agreed.
We are fragile creatures, your naggs are like daggers!
My mrs used to do 48 hour shifts. The house would magically go from neat and tidy to being littered with beer cans, used tissues and empty pizza boxes.
5 mins before she came home after her shift I would have a mad tidying session picking up all the dirty boxer shorts etc.
My point is men like mess, we love it. I want my dirty boxer shorts on the floor, I want egg stains on my dressing gown, I like collecting half empty cups of tea to see what mouldy creatures I can grow in the cups. I enjoy the smell of wet towels and 3 day old t shirts.
I think it's high time women stopped nagging men about cleaning. Would you like us to nag you about being too tidy?
Think about it, does your man ever nag you to do stuff? No, he does it himself. If a man wants something doing he does it himself, he does not nag his wife to do it.
It's a crazy logic you women have, you want something done so you nag your husband to do it? If it only takes a few minutes just do it yourself, then why not just do it yourself. You wont be happy with the way your husband does it anyway.
Wrong! my OH can spot a speck of dirt on a carpet from yards away! he likes a nice, clean, neat, tidy house!
Chrissakes - my OH can nag for wales - and no he wont do it himself unless I have told him to eff off and do it hisself if it matters so much!
and I KNOW the one about doing it wrong so your wifey wont ask you to do it again - my grandad tried that and nan wasnt stupid so she kept making him do it until he got it right! then she found him something else to do! lmao0 -
He can spot dirt AND he nags you
Are you sure he's a he? Have you checked?0 -
LOL ..
We went to the inlaws last weekend and MiL asked if OH helps do the housework.. I laughed and replied 'well he might help if I was actually doing some and asked but as I don't do much he can't help, he just gets on and does it'LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
The military used to be made entirely of men and they managed to be extremely clean and neat there. Ever heard the word "shipshape?"
I don't like this "oh, men can't see dirt" thing. It's insulting to good men and gives bad ones an excuse.
yes you're right - but those men in the military had to be taught and trained how to keep things clean and neat.0 -
