He didn't seem to be 'hiding' the conversation that well if he just left the page open on a computer that you use. This makes me think that he was probably just talking with guys the way guys do sometimes. As you say that he isn't even going to the wedding or having anything to do with organising it, then it doesn't sound like his 'vote' counts for much. Fishing trip it is then.... bless him.

If my OH was going to be anywhere near a stripper then as long as I was being suitably entertained by a fit, gorgeous, sexy male adonis, I wouldn't have a problem with it. Afterall, it is all about compromise......:p:D.
My OH would not like that at all though .

I think the problem for the OP is not strippers per se, but trust issues within the relationship.

That's good that you have that kind of relationship. Me and my hubby had similar attitudes, but when the kids came along it changed my attitude, and luckily my husband being the wonderful, caring person that he is accepted that and I know he wouldn't dream of watching strippers.
I don't like the thought of the man I love being aroused by other women who probably have better bodies. Every relationship is different of course, you need to respect your partner and if something is making them uncomfortable and upset, its a no brainer to me that you stop doing it.

Can't speak for anyone else, but that would be a yes for me.I think !!!!!! should be controlled much more strictly, and I also consider most men's magazines, and a lot of adverts, to be !!!!!!, so I'd like them in plain wrappers out of sight of children.

I think that's a different situation. It's more a case of that being a part of your sex life - I assume she likes to see you turned on by the women,and perhaps gets turned on by them herself, so it's more an extension of your sex life than anything else.

Not my cup of tea, but different to the OP's situation. More like sharing !!!!!! mags or films together, or having a threesome, it's about everyone consenting really.

TBH, this issue is just another symptom of underlying problems you have been having for some time now. I know we only hear one side of the problem but he doesn't ever come over as being a nice chap - just a moody manipulator that you would be happier without.

But you end up defending him eventually... until the next time.

Perhaps its time to iron out every little crease in this relationship, once and for all.

Could you get your husband to share his secret of how he stops himself being aroused by other people? I'm sure there are millions of people who would kill for such an ability given it goes against human nature and instinct. Or perhaps the key is that he just doesn't tell you and instead indulges your whims?

In answer to your questions Grand Plan:
No, I haven't and wouldn't see male strippers.
Yes, I notice attractive men. I have eyes. So does my partner, and I have no doubt he notices attractive women. The difference, and it's a vast one to my mind, is between noticing attractive people - as people! - and paying them to perform se xually - the latter makes se x into a consumer product (and nearly always a male consumer) rather than a fun thing people do together for pleasure or love or both. A guy who sees strippers and I have fundamentally different ideas about se x and so would be incompatible.

(Let's see how badly the swear filter mangles that)
