Woah! Your letting your partner do something you dont like just because he loves you?! He's not being honest; he'd rather watch !!!!!! than be with you! Hmm, wonder how that made you feel...?!!
Woah!!!!!!!! My OH does love me and I don't 'let' him do anything. He isn't my dog, he is my equal partner and if he chooses to watch !!!!!! one night then that is entirely up to him. We have a healthy sex life so why should I have a problem with it? We have watched !!!!!! together before, it isn't an issue.
Honestly, why live your life being ruled by insecurities? You can't control everything that you feel threatened by. We are our own people and I am quite comfortable and secure in my relationship. He is honest because I know that he looks at !!!!!!.0 -

It is sad that you cannot be more open minded. Can you not see that the human body is a beautiful thing, and beauty does not have to equate to sex?
My best friend is pregnant and looks fantastic, absolutely beautiful. Doesn't mean I want to jump into bed with her!
The picture Fang has posted to me is not in the least bit sexual, the man does nothing for me. However, I think it is a beautiful picture, because it shows the human form and all it's curves and tones.
The best thing about the human body? Every one is different, just like a leaf or any other natural shape.Gone ... or have I?0 -
You don't want to? Others do, why do you have a problem with that?
I didn't say you did.;)
No it wasn't. Is the Venus de Milo pornographic? Or the statue of Apollo? What about one of Goya's nudes?
Here is the cover in question - it's quite self explanatory.
Don't be absurd. Children are born naked for crying out loud.
You asked if I read the magazines in question and brought up hands and faces not me.
That cover is not needed to discuss the subject matter. It could have been inside so you had to choose to see it if you wanted.
Those statues were not created for sexual purposes as far as I am aware.
Children are born naked but that is a very different argument.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

I haven't read the whole thread so forgive me but I thought I would add my thoughts..
No matter who their girlfriend/wife is - men like lapdances! It's not an insult to their wives or girlfriends it just something men enjoy!
For most men, it's just a bit of fun on a night out with their mates - which I think is totally fine as long as they arent regularly spending a fortune on it. BUT there are some men, and more then you would expect, who take it a little more seriously and go to lap dancing clubs either looking for sex, or go for dances and then decide then want more then just dances. These men can be young, old, good looking, ugly, some of these men will be nice guys - really it can be anyone!
I hope your husband is one of the good guys who just wants to have a fun night out with his mates and let his hair down but I wonder if he's a bit too into it.. could you share the transcript (or a bit more of the gist of it) so we can give you more of an opinion weather he is out of order or if your over-reacting?
As far as opinions on 'strippers'.. they are certainly not being exploited - anyone in the industry will soon tell you the only ones being 'exploited' are the customers! Yes, alot of men do treat them like objects but the lap dancers know they are more then that and don't take it seriously! Contrary to popular belief lap dancers are not sex addicts looking to steal husbands - they are normal ladies, from all walks of life.0 -

I agree the human body is a very beautiful thing in all its many shapes and sizes, but that does not make it appropriate to flaunt it to anyone other than my spouse or medical practitioner.
Are you saying you've seen your pregnant friend naked - I sincerly hope not.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

You do seem to have an issue with all this. I asked questions, if you don't want to answer them just say - don't act like a petulant teenager.Torry_Quine wrote: »That cover is not needed to discuss the subject matter. It could have been inside so you had to choose to see it if you wanted.
It's not a sexualised cover, so why does the human body need to be hidden? Do you think it's something to be ashamed of? It perfectly illustrates the subject at hand and asks the question - why do you have a problem with it.Torry_Quine wrote: »Those statues were not created for sexual purposes as far as I am aware.
Neither was the GQ Style's cover.Torry_Quine wrote: »Children are born naked but that is a very different argument.
Is it? There must be a reason why some people (you) have a problem with nudity, and others (me) don't. Obviously it's not nature, so it must be nurture.0 -

Sex and gentalia have played a major part in the history of our species (and those closely related to us).
I won't bore anyone, including myself, with all the details...but Roman/Greek/any other ancient society depicting naked and partially clothed statues(and drawings/carvings/etc) did it for a reason. And it wasn't because they didn't know how to do clothing....0 -

I've seen most of my friends naked, and they me. Why is that a problem for you?
And why are you 'flaunting' your naked body to medical practitioners?0 -

Why do images of the human body have to be described as 'flaunting it'?
Yes, I have seen her naked many times. We change together, we share a bed on occasion. I don't see an issue with that?Gone ... or have I?0 -

Yes dear but you said you dont like it when he watches !!!!!! before coming to you, so this isnt about 'letting' him like 'letting' him go to the shop, this is letting him hurt your feelings(that he chose !!!!!! over you), completely different. Thats about respect.£20k in 2023 = £2718 £2023 in 2023 = £196.41 Grocery challenge £250= £195.80 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**0
