New Comps Board Guidelines Discussion

Hi all

I'm working through the monthlies sticky and sending to GO all comps that will now be posted as new threads each month on the main board
I'm using the strikethrough to highlight them see HERE

all of these now need posting for April as new threads on mains please so none of them are lost/missed

you can post on the monthlies thread which ones you have put up to save people searching before they post

dailies - E: DAILY (comp and entry details)
weeklies - E: WEEKLY (comp and entry details)

once only register/sign up promos - ??? stuck here, any ideas please

Thanks for all the hard work Glad.

One nitpicky thing - under the linky to the regulars board it says "
For all regular competitions that happen more than once, that would otherwise get lost on the main competitions board amongst all the one-off comps" are you able to amend it to something like? "For all newsletter comps and all regular daily/weekly competitions that happen more than once, that would otherwise get lost on the main competitions board amongst all the one-off comps"
Not precious if you can improve the wording (probably can), and not sure if it can be done (or has already been asked) but may help anyone that's not read/ignored your sticky about the new rules,

Andrea will have to change the description and was on my to do list which is only in my head lol so reminders like this are very welcome otherwise it's something I remember to do in the middle of Tesco for eg and promptly forget by the time I get home:rotfl:

I've now moved 160 odd threads from the regs board to GO see HERE
so far I've only gone through the links on the sticky and need to go through the board to see if there are any I've missed

I don't know if it's been mentioned but these will need posting on the main board for April, and then every following month, as new threads so that none are missed or lost

a big thanks to purplecatlover who went through the monthly sticky for me and listed which could be entered every month :T

if I've moved any I shouldn't have sorry things were starting to blur a bit after the first 50

Thanks Glad. You must be giving up your whole weekend to get this sorted

I think E: ONEOFF would do. There's nothing to stop people adding other bits like sign up or newsletter or whatever after it if they personally think it's needed but at least it says what it needs to and keeps it simple and short and consistent so it's got a thumbs up from me at least
