If your mum is going to disown you when you leave, you're best off at least trying to talk to her now, while you can.
There's no point not talking to her, then her finding out that you've left so that you have no chance of giving her your view of things.

That would make things very very hard for me, it would mean I'd have to go sooner than I'm ready for.
I know that if I talk to OH, he'll managed to make it so I have to beg him to let me stay or something, even if I don't want to.
