Massive amounts of information re the esa system can be found at dwp examination blog and forum we have learned a lot in the last 18months.Filling in the ESA 50 form correctly is very important Atos look for things that are consistant with the descriptors ,using the wording in the descriptors is a great advantage, being prepared for the WCA is also a must.No one will pass if they go to the assessment unaware of what it entails, the doubters may one day have to go themselves ,I assure you they will soon change their tune.
The ESA WCA system is corrupt through and through in the end it will become undefendable as more and more people get to understand the corruption.
Good Blog, I liked this from there :TDisclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. I try to be an even-handed poster and accept that you at times may not agree with these opinions or how I choose to express them, this is not my problem. they certainly didnt believe these poor people,

take care.
Of course these things will happen. Nobody is suggesting that ATOS or the DWP are always right. Neither can it be said that all IB, ESA and DLA claimants are as genuine as the driven snow!
So there has to be a system that is intended to snare the benefit cheats and in the process some innocent people will get caught up in the cross fire. It is called collateral damage.
The question of regular retesting has to take place, how would the DWP find out who is or is not entitled to benefit on a regular basis.
History so far has told us that the Government cannot rely on the honesty of the general public. How many DLA claims were/have been accepted and granted on a 'for life' & 'indefinite' basis.
How many of those have voluntarily told the DWP that they have improved and don't need DLA anymore?
Likewise with IB, claimants were left far too long without being retested.
Don't blame the Government or ATOS for what is happening. You should be looking to the benefit cheats that have caused this system to be employed.0 -

DWP own figures for fraud. 0.6% of claiments. go figure !!0 -
"History so far has told us that the Government cannot rely on the honesty of the general public"
well that's ok. we can't trust mps, , civil servants, atos and the pm as most have been proved liers at some time in history.
so what now.:)

The difference is that they have all of the power and we do as we are told!
Nobody is without blame, but we must trust in democracy - we are the ones that put the politicians there!
As for the civil servants, to be honest, they are working to an impossible target sometimes. They are in the main the most trustworthy.0 -

They've requested I go for a medical examination, in an area unknown to me and I'd have to take public transport to get there. I'm claiming ESA for Agoraphobia/Anxiety. There's no way I can get there without suffering from plenty of panic attacks & distress along the way.
And if I go through it all and get there, I'm sure they'll tell me there's nothing wrong with me because I got there, despite what it took. I requested a home visit from them, my doctor faxed through the details of why I need a home visit. They refused to give me a home visit.
I'm going to call them and explain that there's no way I can possibly get there. I'm at a loss. I don't understand why I've been refused a home visit. Any suggestions?
Complain in writing to both ATOS and DWP, my son has the same issues, I complained when they on 2 occasions cancelled his appointment at short notice, causing him to lock himself in his besdroom for days, they had had the extra evidence faxed through from his Doctor and totally ignored it, but after my complaint they have agreed a home visit. So complain like mad and make it clear that their insistence to carry the assessment in one of their centres is detrimental to your wellbeing.0 -
