It works out, on a good week, around £10 an hour....but it depends on how many catalogues you are prepared to deliver and collect...gotta admit I'm bordering on obsessive with the amount I put out lol

Call me cynical i am always dubious about new posters coming here and promoting their opportunity.

And when asked to prove it they usually skulk off never to return.

So OP put your money where your mouth is.

Then prepare to be arrested by the police - you've just admitted that you'd batter someone who you've cold called upon in their own home, which is their private property.

The fact you've made this threat / remark is assault.
If you actually carried it out, that would be battery.

Surely if it's a catalogue it would be batteries not included?

At the end of the day.
we are in recession with high unemployment and jobs thin on the ground
folks are trying their best to make a bit of money
its not great money(from what I recall doing it as a kid)
however they ae trying and some folks could do well to try and control their trauma on dealing with a scary catalogue coming through their letterboxes

I have no problem with them delivering their catalogues - they just get shredded like all the other junk mail I receive.

What I do object to is the way that these schemes falsely promote themselves as a way to financial freedom, when in reality they provide nothing more than pocket money for most participants.
  • my 16 year old daughter took on a job delivering bettaware catalogues, she was told if she delivered 500 she would get £50, he only delivered 250 and she delivered them then we spent a couple of days collecting them as people put them out at different times, he gave her £20, she eventually got a full time job, he picked up the brochures and she hasn't been paid for the last lot she did, and he wont answer the phone, not happy, I suppose its a lesson in life for her
  • someone has just shoved a betterware catalogue through my letterbox.... it's gone 10pm and is pitch black outside. i'm a woman who lives on her own and dont want some stranger lurking in my driveway at this time of night!!!!!! are there any laws regarding delivering at this time of night?

There are no laws restricting delivering at this time.

What makes you think they are 'lurking' on your drive? Surely they'll pop the catalogue through and be on their way next door.

Really, if you don't want people on your drive late at night you're going to have to get gates and a lock.
  • Over 50% of my regularly ordering customers have a 'No cold calling' sign on their door. If they do not want a catalogue they only have to leave a note ready for me when I call. Otherwise unless it specifies 'No catalogues' on the door they will get one from me.
