Unsolicited catalogues (Betterware)

I used to put a note in asking that no more were left, but this was ignored. I found often they did not return when they said they would, or didn't say when they'd be back.
Now, the catalogues just go striaght into the recycling box (which si outside thedoor, clearly visible) . I do try to leave them on top so that provided the person comes back before the recycling is collected, they can pick it up,if they wish, but as far as I am concerned, this is junk mail, and it gets treated as such. All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0 -
Simple, rip the spam catalogue in half and leave it out for them to collect on the appointed day.It must be accepted as a principle that the rifle cannot replace the speed of the horse, the magnetism of the charge and the terror of cold steel.

Straight in the recycle bin.
Don't like that? Then don't deliver it."Never underestimate the mindless force of a government bureaucracyseeking to expand its power, dominion and budget"Jay Stanley, American Civil Liberties Union.0 -
If I want to buy something, I fill in the order form and leave it behind a plant pot for them to collect. If I don't, I leave a note on the catalogue saying 'not this time, thank you' and leave it in the same place.
It's not a problem for me.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

This thread has made me laugh how you all treat betterware in different ways, betterware has to follow the dsa code and you can get a copy of this from the dsa and yes i do deliver betterware and do ok out of it I have been doing it for about a year now and all the message that say no cold calling your be surpised how many customer we have that say that also i have a few customers that say no betterware on there doors but always order .........
I have met some great people and some not so nice people that arnt worth the time of day if they cant be polite and the younger people get moaned at for being rude, I respet that not eveyone wants a betterware book put in there door and if asked not to leave a book then i dont but there no need for people to be rude .
I like my job and I like the fact i get to spend more time with my kids and i only need to work 4 days a week, you get what you put into it reason new person every month is cos people go into it thinking they will make loads of money from the word go you work hard and the rewards are worth it .
I look forward to all you haters of betterware replys lol and it betterware you hate not the person putting the book in your letter box they could be the nicest person you ever meet .
look forward to the reply
sorry if anything is spelt wrong or the format is wrong as iam sure some of you will say but in my defence it is 12.54am and my 6 week old baby is awake :-)0 -
My biggest beef with the catalogue people are that they never collect when they say they will. So you end up with a manky damp catalogue on your doorstep. The man without a signature.0

It's overpriced because each item sold has to support the commission structure - salesperson, their referring manager and the company. The man without a signature.0 -
i don't mind getting them, i don't buy, and I just put them straight back outside on our steps. it does annoy me when they don't get collected - right now i've got an avon catalogue and two Betterware ones sitting outside my front door.Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j
