Flutterby - Ive been given the rough dates that youve been given - 30th March online calculator - 1st April from Midwife. Guess Ill find out tomorrow a more definitive date

Emsbet im glad that all is ok. What a worry for you. Just try and take it easy as much as you can.
I've had a rubbish couple of days. Am hardly sleeping because of this wee problem and all the problems with my recently ex OH. We had a real barny this morning and he's refusing to even see a picture of the scan, let alone come with me. All this stress is taking it's toll and I've spent the last couple of days in tears. I just don't know where to get my strength from.
Anyway, sorry for moaning. I know we all have our own problems.

Phunkles - the date from my periods was 23rd March. Date from scan at 7 weeks was 1st April. Date from scan at 12 weeks was 29th March, so I am sticking with that now and that is what is in my notes.

Big hugs happy days. Emotions get the better of us all whilst pregnant, don't me too harsh on yourself. Moan away, everybody will help you. Why not take time out for yourself, get somebody to watch your child and go for a swim, have a bath, watch a film, have a manicure, have a spa treatment (suitable for pregnancy of course), get your hair done, go out for tea with a friend or something that will make you feel that little bit better.

Can a member of your family or friend go to the scan with you. I have been there done that, my DS biological dad came to my first scan (as it was before he left me) but never bothered again and sadly never saw our son before he died. He was the one who missed out, just like your ex will do. My son hasn't missed out, he is one happy little chappy

Good luck and chin up, keep strong, all this stress and worry is no good for you, don't contact him, no contact is hard but in the long run will make you feel better.

Yeah I'm sure I can find someone to come with me. I would just rather it was him.
I've been so happy the past year with him that I just miss him terribly at the moment. I know those feelings will pass and I'm sure I'll look back and wonder why i let it get me so upset. My son is 11 and he's also asking a lot of questions as to why we are now on our own and how can my ex leave me when I'm pregnant. It's hard to explain to him but I just tell him that even I don't really know he answer to that and never will. I have to be careful because the last thing I want is to badmouth him and then my son have to see him again if he decides he does want something to do with the baby.
And im sure if I could sleep it would help me alot.

hi ladies, after 4 long years, 3 cycles of failed IUI, last month I stopped all holistic therapies/supplements and got drunk on cider twice. TBH we have been so busy with weddings and weekends away I was 3 days late before I even tested. Iam so excited I feel like kid a christmas, but sure you all are. Due to our assisted fertility we have an early scan, not sure what to expect as our scan was actually the day we were ment to meet regarding IVF!
anyway look forward to updating on my road into the unknown.
