I know I'm late with this but I'm another one on pretty much constant knicker check. I'm just so scared of something happening and can't wait to get to that point when its less of a worry xx

I ve been craving grapefruits for the last 3 weeks, which is really funny as I ve never liked them before!

I've been feeling really sick today, couldn't even finish my tea as I literally gagged on it and thought I was going to be sick on my plate! Hurrah! :rotfl:

I have been craving crisps - Kettle CHips sea salt with black pepper to be precise. Yummy! But soo bad for you! I eat a whole bag at a time :eek:

Had a moment today. A friend came round for the afternoon and I'd left my latest digi on the table! Hoped she hadn;t noticed then DD picked it up and waved it around, announced it was a thermometer and I had to take her temperature, then told my friend 'Mummy has a baby in her tummy'. Oops! I laughed it off but she can't have been convinced.

One of my boys outs me to EVERYONE - we were at a park no where near where we live when a lady who was with her grandchildren came up and said " I hear you are having a little girl" !!!!!! ?? my face must have been a picture as she chuckled and said one of the boys had run up and randomly announced "mums got a baby in her belly and its a girl" and then ran off :rotfl:

he also shouts it at the deaf old lollipop man who we use in the mornings, he clearly has no clue what he is saying to him as he replies "you are welcome"

I feel left out! My eating is almost normal!!! I'm tending more towards stodgy and comfort foods but can happily eat anything (as per normal lol!) I just can't be bothered with all the prep and cooking alot of the time which isn't like me, I love cooking! Today I've had totally normal food for me except for a few salt and vinegar rice cakes that I've had between meals to keep the hunger at bay as thats when I feel sick!!!

One thing I have noticed is that I feel hungry very quickly after waking up in a morning where as normally I can happily go 2-3 hours before having my brekkie. I now have to eat my banana as soon as I get to work which is an hour after getting up but I reckon I'll soon have to start having something before I leave the house too.

Today I'm back to having very little in the way of symptoms except for the slight nausea when hungry and not really fancying anything to drink even though I'm thirsty. DH keeps making me have drinks but I never want them!!! I really would like more symptoms, I feel too normal and not very PG!!!

DRINK as much as you can Lisa, I made that mistake in early pregnancy and got migraines that were soul destroying. I keep a 750ml bottle on me at all times now, and keep sipping and then re filling when I'm done.

Hi Ladies. Hope you're all doing well.

I went off all meat too for a while, and could only really stomach cheese toasties, or a plain cheese and tomato pizza. And fell in love with jelly beans all over again! Ooh, and developed a thing for honey dew melon. Mmm

Morning ladies.

Just thought I'd give you all a quick update on what turned into a very eventful end to my birthday.....

About 6:30 last night I woke up from a nap on the sofa and went to the loo. When I wiped there was a bright red streak in the paper (nothing on my panyliner) I wiped a couple more times then it was gone. Of course I freaked, I went downstairs to DH and started crying and hyperventilating. I was convinced we were losing the baby. DH called the maternity ward and they said that there was no one there to scan me but I could either go to A&E last night and get them to fast track me for an appointment today. Or wait until this morning and phone the GP to get them to book me in.

So we went up to the hospital and were seen there and they booked us in for an appointment at 9 this morning.

Cue a long night with little sleep....

Anyway we went this morning (no more blood since last night) and she found Sir Alex straight away and (s)he's fine. Heart beating away. Like our early scan (s)he was lying in an awkward position so she had to wiggle my belly a lot to get him into position. Our pictures aren't great because (s)he kept looking at us and waving instead of lying side on but I don't care because all is fine :j

The midwife said that she couldn't see any signs of bleeding and that it could just have been my cervix that was irritated by all the hormones. I had a small amount of brown blood after the scan but I'm not going to worry any more (or at least I'll try;))

Anyway she put us back another day so I'm still 11+2. You ladies are stuck with me until Monday. I still have to go to the hospital Monday to have all the chat etc that you have after the scan.
