You don't happen to live near or in A-U-L do you emsbet? Cos that sounds freakily near me :o)

I had to ask DH where he thought that was so no I don't (I think) :rotfl:
I live just north of Bolton.
She is in the Manc area, so I suspect so.

I work in Manc which isn't good for watching the pennies with all the shops :o Also sometimes not good for my sanity thanks to Northern rail ;)
I need some inspiration for tea tonight, I have completely gone off meat. Fajitas are on the menu but the thought of having to go and buy chicken is turning my stomach :(

Beans on toast it is again then, one of my five a day at least lol. OH is working late so just me and DS to sort, although he has tea at nursery so just often has a snack.

I'm the same chicken in particular (most breasts) make me feel I'll. I'm going to make a curry in the week as I promised DH but he only really like chicken so I'm going to chuck loads of mushrooms in it so I can have those and not the chicken.

How about some pasta? Or cheesy mash and beans (I'm loving cheese at the moment :)). A risotto maybe? A nice big salad with some naughty dressing and some crusty bread and oil? It's difficult to help because we are all "off" different foods. It is tough isn't it? Hopefully it will get better soon :)

I'm having baked potato, with beans and cheese tonight. Means I'm getting a good intake of carbs which I think are needed for growing beanies, I'm constantly tired, despite trying to eat as many complex and slow releasing carbs as possible.

And Emsbet so jealous, Arndale centre is amazing, and Trafford Centre :happyhear When I used to live in the mainland, we'd drive down to Trafford Centre a few times a year normally.

I don't really like going to the Trafford centre but that's only because it's sooooo busy all the time :o wish I could go when it's closed to everyone else :)

It actually is crazily busy, few times we've went in November and I couldn't believe it. I guess because we were always late out of hotels due to late nights before, going in later wasn't a good idea either.

I love Manchester though doubt I'll be going back for any wild weekends soon though! :o

I'll have to try get DH out of bed early to take me :)

I've been eating a lot of cheese, cheddars, chocolate and jelly sweets. The jelly sweets in particular I find help with the nasty taste I've been getting in my mouth.

I went off chocolate for a few weeks because it all tasted funny like it was out of date but now it tastes yummy again :)

Hmmmm I love jelly tots :)

I'm still ok with spicy food (although I don't eat anything too spicy) although I have read that it is common in pg for spicy food to affect people.

  • same here with the horrid taste, i bought some boiled sweets which helped as they took so long to suck !

I gag around anything smelly, especially chicken I cant even be in the house when its cooking as i retch so much :o and then we have to spray freshener to get rid of the lingering smell.

My morning sickness that was lasting throughout the day and going by dinner time now only appears at dinner time :T which isnt great as our meals are getting less and less exciting !

  • Thanks for your suggestions emsbet. I had pasta at dinner, but i fancy some cheese now so will get some before i pick DS up.

I will add too that jelly sweets have always done it for me :) and I have been off choc too, but could murder a biscuit boost now. My choc taste is coming back.
