hey all,
midwife today...eeekkk
I had the wierdest dreams yesterday although i am finding it amusing this morning. While i was a alseep it was like a nightmare. I asked the midwife when i booked the appointment what we would do/cover. she siad it would cover my history (i have a 9 year old) etc...
Anyway in my dream i had to TAKE my history with me and i had a dream i had to take my ex (daughters dad) with me to the appointment:eek: so i had to pick him up and sit with him in the car for an hour and with him and my new partner (the babies dad) through the whole appointment  It was not pleasant
However today i find it really funny lol:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

Don't really know what to do today, could really do with some more decluttering and tidying and things, but did so much of it yesterday don't really want to do it again today ho hum...0 -

Feeling so down at the moment. Struggled through work yesterday and Wednesday. Got home last night and couldnt stop crying. Just feeling so sick all the time, hadnt actually been sick until 5am this morning which wasnt pleasant. Im just so worried this is going to last weeks or however long, I cant even cope with feelign this bad for a few days. Cant even believe im managing to come on here but everyones support helps so much. Have rang the doctor and should get someone ringing back sometime this morning as I just want to tell them how im feeling and ask what I should be doing.
I work 13.30 - 22:00 and at the moment I cant get up at all and just dontknow what to do to make myself feel better anymore.:T baby boy born 01/01/2012 my New Years Day Boy

hey doudberry i have been feeling the same for the last 2 weeks! I cant drink water as it makes my stomach swirl but i can suck on ice cubes so just doing that. food wise i have really struggled i cant cook anything as the smells make me feel sick. i have managed tinned soup, toast and crisps! also ice lollies can be good for getting liquid down.
Go to the docotors or speak to the midwife about some anti sickness tablets others have found them very useful. I seem to be feeling a bit better each day although eating is still an isuue not had a normal meal for 3 weeks
maybe ask the doc to sign you off sick so you can get some rest!
busicuts and milk seem to help soon. as soon as i actually get to the point where i am hungry and my stomach rummbles i feel really ill so have a biscuit every hour to controll the hunger pains.
i have a midwifes appointment soon so will post any useful advice she gives me.
How many weeks are you. get loads of sleep it helped me:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

hey cloudberry poor you hun, biscuits and milk certainly helped me, and dont suffer my lovely, the doctors can give you antisickness tablets as jenjade said, they may help. keep your chin up hun0

Hi cloudberry, sorry to hear you are suffering. I was the same so I feel your pain. I worked pretty similar hours too! I found the best way to keep the sickness at bay was to snack. At first I started taking bananas and an energy drink (possibly not best choice of drink but helped ease the sickness) and nibbled and sipped often, especially when I started to feel sick. Then I found bananas just werent working anymore so took cream crackers with a little margarine on and in the end cheese on crackers and just nibbled throughout the day. I was ok once I had my break and ate my dinner but the hours before that were a struggle becauseI couldnt eat all my dinner before work as it made me feel worse.
Im glad you are contacting your doctor, I didnt do this stupidly but looking back I should have. The sickness for me lasted until 24 weeks and Ive not been sick since but do sometimes have nausea but I promise it does get better. It was so bad at one point I even cried to my boss as I felt so ill, feel silly now though lol!:j0
