Sorry - OH came in and i started crying when i saw him so been having a cuddle.

I did ring the midwife first (It's the community midwife - based at the hospital) and they said they cant see me before 12 weeks and that before the 12 weeks you need to be reffered by the doctors - I rang the doctors and they said that the doctors was busy and to see the nurse and you know the rest.

When i spoke to the midwife I asked what it could be (sorry if this is TMI) But its not what i would of expceted if its something bad. I didnt bleed constantly, had 2 bouts off light bleeds. Wasnt heavy, was about a tablespoon worth for both bleeds. Was bright red and runny. I have to wear pad's due to normal discharge (really sorry this is personal :o) and there's nothing on the pad, its only happened when i've been to the loo but i've not hurt down there (:o) Midwife said if it is something bad, then theres nothing that they can do (wish i already know)

I know this is going to sound stupid but i dont want to go to A&E incase i have lost flump. I'd rather not know and believe everythings ok - desperatley holding on to the 50%

I'm going to shoot off for a bit, I'll do another test Sunday (They said hormones will go out of my body quickly so can do a test in a few days?)

    Hope your all ok xx

You shouldn't need to see the GP for a referral to EPU.. though they will usually only see you from 6 weeks.

it sounds like a really insignificant bleed and I know it isn't to you.. but it is normal to have a small amount of bleeding.. I am sure more people do than don't!!! this is my 17th pregnancy and I have only ever once had no bleeding and that one was dead at the 12 week scan.. so bleeding or none it doesn't mean good or bad news..

Take care.. use it as an excuse to do less!!! and try to relax!! and see if you can get a telephone call with the GP tomorrow.. or go to the surgery and sit and wait and refuse to leave until you are seen.. and accost a wandering doctor if you have to!

hmm thinking about it my mum and sister both had bleeds at about the time that would have been their next period but wasnt one if you get what I mean, could well be that. Bless you I do feel for you, its rubbish not knowing what your body's doing. I would do as pigpen has said and go and see the doc tomorrow, if you ring first thing they can give you an emergency appt, and don't take no for an answer, they can then refer you to epu if needs be.

oooh.. I haven't imparted.. if the docs refuse you an appointment, then refuse and emergency appointment.. request a home visit!!! They ask if you can get to the surgery then give you a time to come.. I have NEVER had this one fail!!!
