Sorry if this upsets anyone but i dont know where to post this

:( I've been to doctors today to see nurse (doctors are seriously understaffed, i couldnt see doctor today) - Have been bleeding and have had stomach ache all day. Nurse was about as helpful as a chocolate fireguard. She doesnt know whats happening (she didnt even look at me - just listened to what i said) and said to do another pregnancy test in a few days - she said there's a 50/50 chance that flumps ok. not really sure whats happening, OH isnt home yet (I wouldnt let him come home from work) but he's due in soon. Feel sick :(

Mimi, hope you are OK? Please go to the GP's tomorrow and insist on an early scan to put your mind at rest.

My friend is 33 weeks pg and she had a light bleed for the first 4 months around about the time AF would have been due. Apparently this can be quite common. I really feel for you :(

Thanks 3isthemagicnumber for the info, that has helped put my mind at rest. I took a tablet at about 11.30 and by about 12 noon I was ravenously hungry. I had 4 slices of toast with marmite and they were flipping lovely :D

I'm still eating little and often and haven't needed to take another tablet yet :j

And ............... I got my scan date today :j:j:j That really cheered me up. It's Thursday 26th May, so 2 weeks today :j:j:j Now I need to read back and find the scan list.

On monday night I had a bleed and was able to phone the local maternity hospital but they advised no-one about to do scan but try not to worry and phone back first thing in the morning. Tuesday morning phone again to say still bleeding a bit so was given a scan in the afternoon at the early pregnacy unit - they were lovely and reassured me that everything ok. I have a small fibroid also above baby but if bleeding happens again I have to contact maternity unit as may need a anti D jag due to my blood type and now over 12 weeks.

Hope you are able to see someone and be reassured that the bleeding is not anything serious.

I've not heard of them, it's quite concerning that your GP didn't know if they were ok to take when pg  Did he not check in the BNF (British National Formulary). How about asking for a prescription for the Cyclizine instead since it is widely used when pg. As you said your midwife should be able to advise tomorrow.

thanks she did look in her big book but said it didnt say hence i havent taken them. but i am so fed up with feeling ill and starving. i also think half the reason i am tired is because i havnt eaten enough.

I will ask the midwife for something safe tomorrow

    thanks

hmmm does sound a bit dodgy jenjade i would indeed talk to your midwife. Feeling all babyfied and from my hurting myself earlier am in bed so think I might watch some one born every minute on 4od, I've seen them all but it obviously cant hurt to see them again :) always makes me want an epidural for when Im in labour though!!!!!!
