Thanks so much girls :-) helped picked me up a bit. great advice on the ice lolly, sat here having one now. I guess im stressing as hubby is off on sunday to hong kong for 3 weeks and my parents then go on holiday so im alone which worries me i dont do being ill on my own very well....im just such a big baby

Dr rang back, he was nice and gave me advice I already knew really, they will only prescrbe something to me if I cant keep any food down - which I can so guess im not that bad just feeling like its worse.

cloudberry honestly dont worry youself about oh being away, as I've said before my OH goes away for 5 weeks at a time, and I have to say when I had bad MS it was great when he was away as I could just wallow in it and feel sorry for myself without having to worry about cooking him dinner or trying to look half decent. I was just going to work and going to bed, actually helped as I got a lot more rest, so dont worry about it.

Hi everyone

I hope you are all OK, have just read through the last 24 hour posts - I do hope everything is OK and you've managed to get in to see you Drs.

I'm 6+2 today (I think), got my midwife appt on 31 May, not sure when my scan will be. I hate this not knowing if everything is going to be OK (I guess you never do) but am constantly worrying.

hi, Well i was sick this morning and all the pains gone, havent bled since yesterday. Have been checked, they said bleed was definitley from the area (sorry!) but that it was more than likely spotting. They said if i bleed any more to go to A&E at city hospital (which is an hours drive) as the local hospital cant scan at any time but city can.

Mentioned the nurse said to do a test and the doc said i would get results quicker if i do one myself.

Sorry, i cant remember who asked - I will be 7 weeks on Saturday

Had my scan this morning - was amazing! They dated me at 12+3 which is exactly what i thought i was. Baby growing at good rate, a tiny bit above average. Didnt get to see as much as i'd have liked beccause of the position of the screen to the bed, but my partner saw it all and thought it was great! Seeing the heart beating away was great and the sonographer gave me a little jab in the belly to get a reaction from baby who duly wriggled and stretched!!
Can't stop looking at the scan pictures, fingers crossed all stays well the nausea seems to be going so hopefully time to start enjoying pregnancy!! :j

hey all

midwifes went okay been weighed measured etc. i have to go to a big hospital an hour away to have my baby as she found my notes from having my first child. I had a bad bleed and was borderline on a blood transfusion so no nice little local hospital for me. it has really upset me but i dont wanna die or bleed to death so i guess i will have to do as i am told!

she has given me a due date of 21st dec but i am having a dating scan in a few weeks they will send me an appointment.

I havent drank much today. really struggling with fluids? Any ideas?

How is everyone feeling?

well am at my dads house as I was feeling a bit lonesome by myself, had barely been out of the house since monday and hadnt really spoken to anyone except you lot on here, so I came here for some company.

Am just in bed writing this, my stomach is massive, had fish and chips for tea, but have had a lot to drink and my stomach has all swollen up, lovely!

My stomach hurts a bit today too, not cramping but on both sides quite low down, I feel like something is pulling or streching, which in theory it probably is, I can just really feel it, and if I move too fast my right side sort of gives and knots up and I have to double over and move slowly until it eases, very strange, anyone else had anything like this, or is it just me?

Evening everyone,

We need some help. I slept with my wife after her period finished (apparently women are most fertile then) - anyways due to personal issues she took the morning after pill.

her period has not arrived and she/we have noticed an extra layer of fat on her stomach recently. its pretty firm ....obviously she will do a test shortly but just wondering if this is a classic sign of pregnancy ??
