I am 9+5 today and my scan thankfully is two weeks tomorrow, I cant wait. I did have an early scan at about 7+3 as my symptoms stopped and I panicked. So I am hoping that everything will be fine this time around - just have to wait a little longer, altough I am not known for my patience!

Good luck with the scan Pebbles & somewhere & hi to everyone else x

((hugs)) to Mimi. How far along are you? You might be able to get a private scan if you don't want to wait. I'm not sure about the hormones leaving your system that quickly though. I saw this article linked elsewhere: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6462569?dopt=Abstract which seems to suggest that a little over a week is the minimum before normal hcg levels would be seen. Of course, it depends where you are in the pregnancy too.

    Good luck pebbles and somewhereweknow!

Hello everyone, glad to report that I've been following advice on eating and have felt a lot better for it :) Today I had a sandwich and an apple and two little choc biscuits on the train on the way to work and didn't feel dizzy or sick all day (however, did cut my face on a broken bottle :o) Plus I had my phone interview earlier and got through to the face-to-face one next Wednesday which I'm chuffed to bits about too. So not all doom and gloom from my corner for once!

Good luck to everyone for their scans, I'm going to try and pop into the health centre tomorrow and get registered and try to get a scan booked, then go shopping with my mam and tell her the good news. I think it'll probably be best if I give her some facts like dates and things instead of telling her I haven't even seen a doctor yet :o

I have a prescription for some anti sickness tablets but the doctor didnt seem to sure if it was safe for baby so i have been struggling on! They are called metoclopramide hydrochloride tablets 10mg 3 times a day

has anyone taken these? I have the midwifes appointment at 11.40 tomorrow so maybe she will be able to help. i am still not eating much

I took them with DS3.. he is 12 now.

They were fine in 1999!! lol... doubt they'll have changed much.

  • I had some more bleeding yesterday but it's stopped was bright red and tho I've been aching it's not been crampy.

Can't wait for the weekend and a chance to relax! Been a long week, two meetings with my bosses, one won't take me back with the baby :( waiting to hear from the other one.

Hope everyone out there is doing okay x
