Sorry if this upsets anyone but i dont know where to post this

:( I've been to doctors today to see nurse (doctors are seriously understaffed, i couldnt see doctor today) - Have been bleeding and have had stomach ache all day. Nurse was about as helpful as a chocolate fireguard. She doesnt know whats happening (she didnt even look at me - just listened to what i said) and said to do another pregnancy test in a few days - she said there's a 50/50 chance that flumps ok. not really sure whats happening, OH isnt home yet (I wouldnt let him come home from work) but he's due in soon. Feel sick :(
  • Mimi,

If your really cncerned go to A&E thats what my doctor told me if I felt anything was wrong!!! Our local A&E has a special early pregnancy unit!!! Don't suffer in silence not everything is as straight forward as the nurse appears to be making out!!!! (((HUGS))) honey!!!

mimi, hun i am so so sorry you have been treated so badly!! I agree with going to A&E and getting a scan!!! Really cross that the nurse wasnt at all helpful. Where as when I had stomach cramps early on they got me an appt within 2 days for an early scan!!! Im so annoyed the difference of care within the NHS just depending on who you see and where!! Grrrrrrr.

Huge hugs and I hope its nothing to worry about my lovely, please keep your chin up. were here if you need to chat.

    hey Mini,

Can you phone the midwife they are more knowledgeable then the nurse as it is the sort of thing they deal with all the time. I hope everything is okay make sure you rest loads!

p.s. if its any consolation the dr gave me the same 50/50 odds when they sent me for a scan but everything was absolutely fine when they checked x

do you know what jenjade it was the hardest one i've ever done. I don't know if it was the assignment or the lack of concentration on my part! i was pleased with my cleaning attempt today, although my stomach still hurts :(

    goodness I hope mimi's ok.

    Mimi,

I would agree with what the previous posts have said and go to a&e and ask for a scan for reassurance. Bleeding can be normal as can cramping so a scan would offer reassurance. Some people have a lot to answer for with their dont care attitude - makes me mad. Thinking of you x
