Mid morning yesterday when I went to the loo I thought there was a pinky colour when I wiped. So I wiped about 20 more times and there was nothing there. I scrutinised the loo paper each time I went for the rest of the day and it was fine so I put it down to my imagination.

Got up this morning and went to the loo, there was very definite pinky blood, not a lot, it was just a spot of it. So I wiped 50 more times and nothing else. I'm sitting here panicking, I know women can get spotting when their AF would be 'due', but my AF wouldn't be 'due for another 2 weeks. So anyway I've got some cramps and I don't want to tell DH as he will worry and what's the point of us both worrying.

I've not had any MS this morning and yesterday I managed to eat a takeaway Indians, the first proper meal I've ate for about 6 days. I thought it was the tablets I was taking for the MS working, but maybe not ..... now I'm starting to think the bloody tablets have caused a problem.

grrrr WW just typed you a really long reply and lost it, basically I said tablets can do funny things to your body even when you're not pregnant and it does sound like spotting. If you're worried, phone NHS direct hun or is your midwife about on a sunday? Please try not to worry too much x

Jonny0, The morning after pill as im sure you are aware isn't 100% effective. I would just do a test to be on the safe side.

Well I actually slept properly for the first time in ages I think being at my dads where its quiet, hardly any traffic noise unlike at home where it wakes me up really helped, although feel really groggy like i've just resurfaced from a being under water or something. Just watching supernanny I hope my kids never end up being like that!!

    Hey Mimi,

Glad no more bleeds, you take it easy (as much as possible!). Have you tried putting a cool damp face cloth on your throat? I read about it last week, and it seems to have helped with my nausea.

I've only been sick a few times, but feeling pretty sick and yukky most of the time which is making work a bit tough going. And so so so tired. Its making doing simple things very difficult- i had a melt down yesterday trying to change the bed clothes. It was just so tiring, i kept feeling like throwing up, and getting hot and clammy, and had a cry too. Had to keep stopping for a rest! Seriously took me 20 minutes to change a duvet cover and 2 pillow cases.

WW - don't panic... I had pinky/browny spotting for the first few weeks and some twinges too that were like period pains. I mentioned this to the doc and he said it was quite common and not to worry unless the pain gets worse or it turns into fresh blood. As I was going to bed soon after I did notice fresh blood, so went to A&E (which was a bit of a waste of time as the ultrasound dept wasn't open until the next day), they took TONS of blood to check hcg levels and the scan the next day showed all was well. There wasn't enough blood to soak through even the thinnest of pads (sorry if TMI) and once the hospital knew this they seemed to be less worried.

After the scan they couldn't tell me where the bleeding was from or why. They did tell me that I'd ovulated from my left ovary which may have explained the twinges on that side which I thought was pretty cool that they could tell that.

If you want some reassurance, perhaps call NHS direct. But a bit of pinky/brown is quite normal apparently. If you can't relax, best get down to your EPU, but to save a wasted trip I'd find out when they are open as I'm pretty sure A&E won't do anything other than taking some blood....

For what it's worth as well, I thought my MS disappeared the same night I bled too... Not sure if it was adrenaline or nerves or stress or what, but it soon came back

I suspect the tablets have some kind of effect on hormones which may in turn have affected something down there, but I'm sure the doc would've advised you of any risks if they were any with what they've prescribed.

In the end I just thought it must've been some "lining" or stuff that would've usually cleared out during AF, but wasn't needed so had to come somewhere.

Anyway, I'm properly waffling now, what I'm trying to say is try not to worry, take it easy as stress won't help you...

    Take care x

MS still hanging around here... I hate it. I must say I find getting up and out is the best thing, not sure if it's because it just takes my mind off it or what, but lazing around just seems to highlight the grossness.

The range of food I can face is getting smaller and smaller. Cold foods are more appealing than hot and I'm finding I really enjoy milky stuff (cereal, cream cheese, yoghurts). The smell of frozen bread is just gross and I've well gone off meat and salad. I'm loving jackets with cheese and beans but OH is getting fed up with having that for dinner every night.

I'm taking it day by day and just hoping for that magical morning when I wake up and it's disappeared!

Yummymummy - what are your dates? I note that me and you are the last scans, so wondered if you were similar to me - I'll be 12+1 then (I'm 9+5 today, due 11 Dec), and I think WW is due a day or so either side so we could be a little bump trio?

Thanks Blue Monkey, I've not had any more spotting since this morning and the MS seems to have returned. I had to take a tablet, so the nausea has gone but I still can't face food. I was doing so well this morning, but now I'm back to bread and water.

I've been absolutely shattered today, I think I over did things yesterday as I was feeling quite well and didn't have a nap all day. I also did my 3 food shops that I hadn't managed the rest of the week. I go to Morrisons , Tesco and Asda for my food shopping, I like to shop around for offers, plus DH likes certain own brands from certain shops. But because I hadn't been out all week our fridge and cupboards were bare and I went to all 3 yesterday afternoon.

I've made up for the not napping yesterday though. I got up this morning and changed the bedding then went straight back to bed for 2 hours. I only got up because my BF rang the door bell at 11am, she brought me some maternity clothes round. She looked so glam while I looked (and still look) like a complete slob.

Then this afternoon I've had another nap and when I woke up I felt totally hungover. I've done absolutely nothing today and still feel washed out. DH is very understanding and keeps telling me to rest, but I can't see how I'm going to manage to go to work next week if this is how I feel when I'm not at work.

    I'm 9+6 today and due 11th Dec too :D
