pigpen I have!! I've had crisps, a HUGE jacket potato with cheese and coleslaw and am working my way through an entire packet of Mentos sweets.
Even after all that, I feel like my appetite for dinner tonight won't be ruined. Way hey!!

Thanks for tips about bloods. If the midwife can do it, I'm just going to hang on till I see her at booking appt. They have me down as 8 weeks, so it should be pretty soon. I have some extra iron supplement stuff that my acupuncturist gave me as a sample, but I haven't tried it yet. It's supposed to be really good about not causing stomach trouble, constipation, etc. though. It's this stuff: http://www.nelsonsnaturalworld.com/en-gb/uk/our-brands/spatone/

    Crossing fingers for you, wfp!

Hey Jen, can you let me know when you try this. I have awful trouble getting any iron intake and am always anaemic. I keep meaning to try this stuff (as it's from "home") but have never got round to it. I have to do something though as my levels are so low that I keep seeing stars and have no energy ever.

I tried some iron syrup from the docs last week and within two days I was in agony with stomach cramps and constipation, it always happens, so it's really difficult. I had me an iron infusion as a last resort but had an anaphylactic reaction to it so it's a bit of a nightmare. Think I might give this a go, it's got to be worth a shot.

Ooh, I didn't know that either. It's not so expensive (well, I got this one free) but every little helps, eh? I'm so beat now, I may try some today. I don't think I've slept this much since I was 4.

    Hi everyone,

Hope you are all ok :)

I had my scan this morning and everything was fine :) I was so worried there wouldn't be a baby or a heartbeat but the lady found bean straightway and you could see the heart beating! I got a bit emotional at this point!

We got 3 pictures which are great :) on one of them you can see the leg and foot kicking out and on another it looks like the baby is waving at us!

I feel so relieved, on cloud nine :)

Thanks to everyone on this thread. I haven't posted much but have read a lot and have found everyone to be so helpful. I will "graduate" and go onto the next thread where I hope to see you all soon :)
