  • I've been lurking all weekend as was away with my family - they all got told the day we did the test! it was quite bizarre thinking the next time I see them I'll be a mummy!

Still no sickness, b**bs are okay, tired but nothing else...... 7 weeks tomorrow.

I had my first blood test today after seeing my GP on friday. My niece was stillborn and my GP sent me for a test with what my sister was diagnosed with - its best to know these things cos then they can treat me for it asap.

I'm obviously a very odd women. Everyday that I've been feeling sick, I just wish the sickness would go away. Now that I'm having a sickness free day, I can't help but thinking "at least when I was sick it's a reminder that I'm pregnant. I hope everything in there is ok".
    Not normal am I? :)

If you're not normal then neither am I :o I'm 10+5 today and didn't feel nauseous today for the first time in weeks. Also my ravenous appetite seems to have disappeared and I can't help thinking it might be too early for the symptoms to disappear

I'm still absolutely exhausted though and weeing like there's no tomorrow :rotfl:
  • hey folks - just a wee question - what normally happens at the 12 week scan appt - cant wait but now its so close im scared :)

Morning ladies, hope we're all well?

Doctor signed me off for at least 3 weeks yesterday and I'm already bored stiff! DH won't even let me do a load of washing! Usually you wouldn't hear me complaining but I hate being incapacitated and feeling useless! Ah well, hopefully hear from the surgeon soon.

Hope your scan goes well today I Luv Freebies :)
  • yeah as always good luck Iluv freebies. i didnt realise it was 29th today-i've lost a day somewhere, uh-oh pregnancy brain kicking in.

got some news from the meeting yesterday regarding my working hours, manager is going to talk to me and another girl individually, dont know when that will be or if it will be store manager or line manager-both were finished by time i was working last night. hope to hear soon!

glad everyone seems to be getting on fine-winnie is this ur first pregnancy? i cant remember, soz, i know you will be bored, but by time baby is here you will be glad of it, wish i could have some holidays soon-9th may, not too long

Provided I'm not made redundant before the summer, I need to think about when to start my mat leave.

How many weeks are you all thinking of having off work before the due date? I was thinking 2 but I don't know if this is enough or just right.
For those of you that already have children, how much time did you take and would you have liked more or less?
