Welcome pawpurrs! Those niggly twinges are awful aren't they? I had one scare last week, where I was sure something was wrong, but later I suspected that maybe I'd just be working a bit too hard cleaning/moving some things around. The man came home from work though Friday, to me curled up in bed, trying not to bust into tears.

Missymoo, just think positively for now! I hope you can get in for your scan very quickly!

It's amazing how things change from day to day. So sick this afternoon, I thought maybe I was getting the flu (headache too). I'd been drinking gobs of orange juice, but then have some sort of mouth ulcer or something going on..nothing serious I think, but hard to drink oj. Not having that at the beginning of a meal seems to make everything harder to digest.

How can something the size of a blueberry be causing constipation, unbelievable fatigue, nausea, headaches, irritability, and whoa...crazy dreams?

<<wonders what the kid is going to be like when she's the size of a watermelon

the nurse at epu told me it wouldn't have caused the mc last time.
the medical websites say there is no link between heart shaped womb and miscarriage.
loads of people have babies and don't even realise they have the condition.
the nurse at epu wasn't even 100% if it was heart shaped so may be only a slight anomoly.

i just keep reading peoples horror stories on forums (mainly american)!!

Lol.. just keep in your head.. people who participate in forums do so because they have something to say so medical stuff they tend to be complaining about illnesses or issues or have axes to grind.. you very rarely get someone saying 'hey I have Altzeimers... it is great.. it means I can do x, y and z and noone tells me off!' ... but you do get.. 'I have this and I feel so bad and my leg fell off this morning and my dog died'..

And I do not want to say anything against the Americans in general, as I'd hate to stereotype... but.. stop reading American sites!!

i know i know!! i feel a bit better just concentrating on the positives. i am in the best position i can be in at the moment to have a baby, i am actually pregnant(!!) and have seen the baby and heartbeat. my epu is giving me fortnightly scans so really i can't get much better.

just need to chill out about my fears and keep away from the americans!!

And you are statistically less likely to m/c once you have seen a viable baby..

    And.. you are pregnant :D:D:D:D:D

Fortnightly scans is very good.. I am quite green with envy.. I've usualy had 2 or 3 by now and not had any.. I don't even know when this is due!

i know you are less likely to mc but last time i saw the baby with heartbeat at 11+0 and i mc'd at 11+2. at least this time they will be keeping a eye on me. they might be able to pick up problems which may arise.

i am glad about the scans it is making this first twelve weeks go a bit quicker. will be going again next week when i should be 8 weeks. only one more epu scan after that then it will be the dating scan!
