hi all.....congratulation to all the BFP.....!!!
I think i am going mad.....and whats makes it worse is I havint told anyone about my pregrancy apart from OH so feel all along and very scared.....
I have done another pregrancy test this morning (told you i am going mad) even though i think i am about 9/10 weeks and while it was positive the second line is faint....is this normal? Could this be a sign something is wrong.....?
Dont know who else to ask....xxxx0 -
Morning girlies and hi to all the lovely noobs!
Glad your scan went well I Luv Freebies, even if the picture is a bit rubbish we'd love to see it!snagglepuss16 wrote: »glad everyone seems to be getting on fine-winnie is this ur first pregnancy? i cant remember, soz, i know you will be bored, but by time baby is here you will be glad of it, wish i could have some holidays soon-9th may, not too long
Its my second but the first one is 10 and doesn't require a great deal of running after anymore bless him! I got so bored yesterday I went to my dad's office and sat and pushed paper through the shredder for nearly 3 hours! Regretting it today, didn't sleep well, lots of pain around the hernia and shooting pains into my leg so probably yet another trip to the doctors today. Feel like I'm making a right fuss because I know they can't do anything and I'm probably better off lying in bed and waiting for the surgery appointment. *Huge sigh* just 8 sleeps til the scan0 -

It is normal.. it could be due to less dye in the test, lowr conc. in the urine plus.. at about 10 weeks the HcG is no longer needed in the same quantities as the placenta starts producing hormones to maintain the pregnancy so the level of HcG falls off.. in later stages of pregnancy it is normal for a pregnancy test to show negative as the levels are so low.
(I did the same too and got the same result and mine is fine as I can feel it wriggling)
Today I woke at 6 and took forever to get back to sleep.. for about 10 seconds before the damn alarm went off! ggrrrrLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

For some women, not all, once they reach a certain point in their pregnancy they can get nothing more than faint lines or even BFNs. It's either to do with the hormones or the placenta, I forget which one.
One of my friends had blazing bfps all the way through, the other could get nothing after 12 weeks (faints up until then) and both children are fine.
I don't know which category I lie in, I refused to test after 7 weeks :rotfl:Wife and mother :jGrocery budget

re: sleep. I've been trying to stay up til about 9 most nights to have some time with the man. Twice I've made it til about 9:30, but several nights 8:15 comes and I'm falling asleep on the couch. It's really weird for me. The only time in my life I can remember being this tired was after an illness maybe 12 or 13 years ago.
Home from work today after several nights of interrupted sleep, extreme nausea, a splitting headache during the night and some gut pain that I suspect is just the need to poo.Feeling meh, but going to walk to the shop to get some prune/apple juice in a bit.
sugarbabe, it's perfectly normal to be scared. I think lots of us are in this thread for the same reason as you. No one really knows about our pregnancies and we need some reassurance. Regarding the test: all sorts of things can make a difference in the reading: time of day, how much liquid you've drunk, even just the test itself. You could also try one of those digital ones that tells you how many weeks along you are. They only go up to 3 weeks but it might be reassuring at least. For what it's worth, I had a fainter line when I did my "double check" test, so then I did a digital one and saw that 2-3 weeks past ovulation sign and took a deep breath.Pick battles big enough to matter, small enough to win. - Jonathan Kozol0 -
