How long ahead of time did you all get your booking appt date? I'm supposed to go week after next, but haven't heard anything yet. Just a bit worried about scheduling as I have to arrange cover for work.

oooh can I ask any of you that have had early scans whether you have to do anything specific before you go? I understand I might have to have an internal if they cant sort it on a thingy (technical term) ultrasound. Do I have to drink loads of water or anything like that? Have had very little direction and therefore have no idea!!! Am $"£*ing my pants about it to be honest.

    Afternoon all!

Just a quick update... Had the scan this morning and so far everything looks fine! I am really relieved and feel I can start to enjoy being pregnant now!

Little pip was wriggling and stretching and crossing its legs!

Hope everyone is having a good day!

I am just putting my feet up before tea and the imminent arrival of the in-laws! :p

i had an internal scan at 6 weeks last week. you need to have a fullish bladder for the normal scan but they tell you to go to the toilet for a wee before the internal.
