    In early pregnancy your blood pressure drops so you often may feel faint or dizzy or just light headed.. this is a good thing.. it means if it goes up in later pregnancy it is less likely to be dangerously high. Just be careful when bending or moving from sitting-standing or whatever.. but it is a positive thing.. honest.. I took some convincing when I kept finding myself laid on the kitchen floor :p

    Jen - I got my appointment letter in the post on a Thursday afternoon and the appointment was 9am on a Monday! I hope you get more notice than that!!

    Well, my doppler arrived from ebay today, so naturally it was the first thing i did when i got in from work!
    I couldn't find a heartbeat but did hear a really loud whoosh whoosh sound just above my hairline on the right. Not sure if this is the placenta blood flow or just normal blood flow that's always there?!

    Anyway, I'm not bothered as I'm only 10+6 so probably too early with a cheap doppler. Got my scan a week tomorrow and it can't come soon enough!! I was terrified in case something is wrong but now I'm actually getting exctited about it!

    was probably your artery supplying you leg there.. :D

    The baby will be more like a train their hb's are about 3 times faster than ours.

    Missy - internal scan/dildo scan is fine, isn't uncomfortable at all, please don't worry. If you've had a smear you'll be surprised how much more comfortable it is, well in my opinion. Hope all ok xx

    lol I have a little but it's worse with out of my mouth. I hardly ever burp but I'm doing it all the time lol. Least you can blame it on being pregnant/the baby. You could get away with anything!
