Will I regret the move from Apple to Android?
I have a 3GS and I because of the way iOS is so locked down, I thought moving to android would be a good idea, I bought a Galaxy S, excellent phone but I can't help but feel I might regret it, The Galaxy S is better than the iPhone in every way but I don't know I still have a little niggly feeling I might regret it. Did I make the right move?

What is good for one is not good for another, so only you can know the answer to that, I have the most recent ipod touch and that is enough for me never to consider an iphone, I don't have an android phone either, but out of the 2 I would have an android or BB but that is me...0

If you can live without the apps then you will be ok!0

yes you will regret it, you will kick yourself for not doing it sooner.
Apple sell second rate handets to sheeple, relying solely on the hype they build up to make sales.
I mean it took the iphone 4 generations to get basic features that are included with sub £50 phones.
Im sure people will be coming on saying I luvs the iphone, I luvs it more than life itself, but Android is still an all round better OS, but you did make a mistake with choosing the samsung, Touchwiz UI is ugly as sin, Sense is alot better0 -

Not found one app on Apple that i cannot get on Android .
But as i dont play games or install fart machines i may not fit an Apple users profile as regards apps .

Two reasons i went SGS rather than HTC one better screen and two preferred and still do the SGS UI .Other launchers available anyway .
But thats it top end Smartphones its user choice between them .
One negative with Samsung is that they are slower with firmware updates than HTC .

Hmmmm............. Okaaay...
is that why I have a desire HD and a Omnia 7?0 -
It is the brainwashing that's getting to me, iPhones are made out to be the holy grail of mobile phones.0

Once you have installed all the apps you had on your iphone then you will only notice how superior android is to ios4 and it does have much better supported features etc.0

Better possibly though any advantage is shrinking fast .
Worth the extra money over HTC Desire or SGS only if £50 more otherwise overpriced .
But its users choice and users bank balance .

im contemplating the same move tbh. My 3gs with Tesco is up within the month and I'm thinking about Android again, especially as I've just bought my son a San Francisco. I can probably sell my 3gs and put the funds towards something like a HTC Desire HD, I really need something with the biggest screen since I use the internet features more than the phone ones. Any ideas what the best phone would be or if something is just around the corner that fits the bill as best internet experience.0
