Very happy with Mobiles.co.uk
Praise where praise is due.
I took out a £40 a month 24 month contract with them last Xmas to also get a 'free' Laptop.
I got unlimited calls, texts and data for my £40.
I called them in Dec to ask if my contract could be changed in any way as I was not using it as much as I had anticipated, they said to call back in a week and they would reduce my contract by £5.
I was pleased with this but only got around to calling back this week.
The guy said he needed to take a look at my contract and came back with more than I am currently using for only £20 a month for the next year, so saving me £240:eek::T:T
I an so pleased with this, I know the £40 was a lot but it was cost effective to get the laptop and at the time actually worked out about the same price, so now it would seem I got an absolute bargain.

I had never heard of this company before and there was a website offering to win a contract with them, so I didnt play (as it cost), but the deal was win a 24 month contract plus a free prize! - as you have no trouble with mobiles.co.uk I may have a go! Thanks0

I can only post on the service I received, I have had contracts with them before, with no problems.
The reason I posted was we are all too ready to complain about bad service, but it takes more effort to praise good.
Its all about weighing up the good/bad.Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -
I am not sure how mobiles.co.uk or any other reseller has the authority to change the airtime contract with one of the networks half way through a contract, other than the CPW/O2 arrangement that used to be on offer.
Are you absolutely sure you have not been signed up to a parallel second contract??? If I were you, I would double check with your network - pdq.0 -

Call it a blond moment, or a senior one, or a silly woman.
o sorry, can this be deleted or closed?
BTW The service I have had from the phone company has always been good just the same.
Off now, hanging my head in shame.Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -

True. I also now know of two claims where the correct bill was fully submitted only for the senders to be told it didn't contain the information which was clearly visible. Not a problem if you keep a close eye and push the right buttons when they make you, but the leopard hasn't changed its spots despite some apparent improvements of late.0

Are you really sure at least 1 ghost didn't visit you over Christmas ??????????
Joking aside, you are right to observe that the last 3 months have shown a decline in negative posts against this company and, who knows, if it continues than maybe, just maybe, there may have been some changes in ethos.
Can but hope and a bit early to change your warnings, but you are right to comment when things appear to change - both when better and when worse.0 -
You assume my comments are due to lack of negative postings; they are more due to prompter payments and an on-line system which now (in the main) works rather than stuffing its customers. However, ALL cpw companies have earnt the extreme right to scepticism and NOT giving them the benefit of the doubt - especially due to a "lack" of negative feedback on here. The plain fact is, they are STILL claiming that perfectly valid claims do not show all the required information when they do.0
