Morning, I was wondering if anyone could help please, I made a big batch of spag bol yesterday, of which my dh had some last night. But I found the rest switched off and cold this morning, but still out on the work top.
Usually I would bin it, but is there any way it would be safe to eat, if I froze or refridgerated it now?
By the way it would be just for my DH to eat not the kids if that makes a difference ;) Thanks

Nooooooooooooo step away from the bin!!!!!! It will be fine! I normally leave mine out overnight to cool down & have never been ill! I would portion it up & freeze it/fridge it if eating tonight then just make sure its VERY hot when cooked through!! HTH.X

So long as your house isn't really warm it will be fine. I'd throw it away if it was midsummer and humid, but at this time of year its barely warmer than it would have been in the fridge!

I've made mine overnight in the slow cooker, left to cool down, and forgot to put it in the fridge till the next morning and its been fine.

As long as your kitchens fairly cool, and you put it in the fridge/freezer as soon as you remembered you will be fine.
