That's annoying Delain, at least my LO will "grow into it" as everyone says. But I asked for clothes because she needs more stuff that fits her now.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0

Bless her make-it-3.Poppy is quite a small baby so glad people listened when i said what size to get at christmas. Things are no good too big if its totally the wrong season and plus like you said you need clothes for now.
Poppy has got a bit of a sniffle but seems ok apart from being a bit off her food. I had 5 mums and babies round yesterday so was a bit hectic.Poppy and one of her little friends were being the most michevious though going after the biscuits and things hehe.0 -
We had yet more upset stomachs.... Twin1 had had an *ahem* 'accident' in bed this morning. Suffice to say it will be a while before I can look at chocolate spread in the same way, and the bedcovers couldn't be saved, no way was I scraping all that off _pale_ fortunately they were old ones!
I have called about a house... gorgeous 4 bed house, country kitchen, range cooker, mahoosive... No agency just a landlord who wants a long term let and doesn't seem bothered about the rent top up, but it's in the middle of town so a definite school change if we go for it. I don't know how I feel about that!
Currently twin1 and Squeak are sat up to the table drawing, considering the problems they have the twins are really very good with her.
Baby has been unsettled, doesn't seem to like sleeping on her own, so I'm going to take the cuski to bed tonight so that she can try having it in the cot with her tomorrow.
Also baby is bigger than Squeaky was so we've got some nice newborn clothes I kept which can now go on ebay, new big lump is squarely in 0-3 months
She seems to have an abundance of little jackets... Where she's underneath Squeak in the P&T she doesn't get cold in there, especially as I use the little plastic cover for the back to stop random kids at the school sticking their hands in. Might have to dig those up and fling them now whilst the weather's still cold!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

House sounds good Delain but depends on how you feel about school change etc.
I have got a very clingy grumpy girl today , think it might be teething but is very tiring!0 -
Hi all
Haven't been on here for ages, so sorry! I see congratulations are in order for Delianhope it's all going well.
We are doing well here, ds is over 16 months now and walking. He's gorgeous and very strong willed, bright as a button. I got made redundant at the end of my mat leave and have freelanced a bit but am currently looking into part time work options. I have an interview tomorrow but it's unlikely I'll take the job if I get it as the money is barely enough to cover nursery. I really don't want to work as I love being at home but we could do with some extra money.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Sounds like he is doing great Rach. Sorry to hear you got made redundant. The whole work thing is so tricky. Hope you manage to find something that will work for you.0

Hi rach :hello:
Sorry to hear you got made redundant. There are so many jobs being lost all over the place its insane.
We're not moving in light of the school near the other house, it has a very bad reputation, and an ofsted report to match!
Anyone think we'll actually get all this snow? I'm not sure where some of you live but it almost never snows here
Sad act that I am I'm sat here watching ooglieshonestly you'd think I was nine :rotfl:

Welcome back Rach. Its tough finding part time work that fulfils both your desire to be a useful part of adult society, financially worthwhile and have quality time with your LO.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0

Sorry to hear your news Rach. Can you work around your OH's hours? Like do a few hours in a bar or supermarket on evenings or weekends? That would bring some cash in without needing to pay childcare.
Freezing cold here. It was -7°C outside when I woke up but no snow. There's snow forecast tomorrow afternoon. Josh is hoping we get lots as he's supposed to playing football on Sunday morning and they've had to switch the game to an astroturf pitch, and he can't stand playing on astroturf!
James was 13 yesterday. Got him an xbox game that he wanted and the England rugby shirt which he wasn't expecting and he's chuffed to bits with it. Went for a meal in Chiquitos last night and they tied balloons on his chair and brought his brownie out with a candle in and all sang happy birthday to him
Just staying at home today. Got some work to do from home and a uni essay to work on.
Have a good day all xxHere I go again on my own....0 -
Just logging in to bump us from oblivion (page 5) and wish Baby Giz a very happy birthday for today.
My LO had her MMR today, I hope it doesn't upset her - we've had six yes SIX consecutive nights of sleep thru's last week.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0
