 I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been thinking of me. I searched the thread for my name and I had no idea that so many people would be concerned about me.

How are you feeling Susan? :grouphug: anyway

RB hello :) we offer Miss M milk in a cup but she will only drink it midafternoon. She has a bit of water before bed (in a sippy cup) because she is otherwise uninterested in non-Mama milk. I feel a bit :o about her getting so little milk so I make sure she gets loads of yoghurt and cheese.

Becles my glasses are clean but I took her out in her yoghurty trousers and shirt, I figured it was Gymboree and she was probably going to get dirty anyway so it didn't matter. She's currently sleeping it off.

Poor sickly Husband hadn't budged from the bed when we came in, I went to check on him and he asked if we were leaving. I was a bit worried that he'd lost two hours from his mind but at least he was asleep. I've just sent him out though, he forgot to put in the prescription order for Miss M's boosters and they're supposed to be tomorrow  can't see how he forgot since I handed it to him on Saturday as he was going out but he isn't the most reliable of memory.

That is so awesome, Becles!! She looks so grown up, great that she loves cooking :D.

Yay, Susan, glad you're feeling well enough to post! Do you know when you see the MW yet? Any other interesting pregnancy news? How's Alice?

I tried to donate blood today for the first time since Finn, but they couldn't do it because it had been over 2 years and the mobile unit didn't have the right papers with them. And they wonder why only 4% of people donate!

    Hi all

I just wanted to say thankyou to all the mummies who gave me advice on the BFing and moses basket issues. We have decided to give up on BFing as it was just too stressful for all 3 of us, Sam has taken to the bottle like a duck to water and I'm happy he's getting everything he needs from it.

As for thde basket, we've made a little bit of progress, we've decided to sleep in shifts for now and keep putting him down in it after every feed and change - tonight he has slept from 10.30pm - 3am and then on and off since then. Because he was 2 weeks early OH hasn't finished his handover at work so he's going back in today until Thursday then he'll have his 2 weeks off so we're hoping to crack it then.

My new worry was that he's sicking up milk in his sleep and we were scared he would choke on it - however I believe this is called posseting? Have read up on it and got a few good tips.

Day 5 today so he has his heel blood test - poor thing! :(

James did that a lot. If you put a muslin or tea towel under his head when he goes to bed, you can just change that when he's sick. Keeps the washing down as you don't have to change the sheets each time.
