Hello to all the newbies  Yay to sleep and hope all the poorlies get better soon. I hope all the mummies enjoy their babies as they grow and develop, even if we don't get to be with them as often as we would like.
The blood discussion has reminded me I need to check when they are next in the area. I have missed the last two I have been eligible for, and need to get back into donating, but I'll also need a babysitter...0 -
lillian glad to hear the boy slept and you got a block of sleeps really does make a difference.
katarina i had the same prob with t at 5 weeks I think it is a stage he will sleep ok on own in cot at night but we still struggle to nap at home in day. I still have to go for a walk or go out in the day so can nap otherwise is overtired.
kk can't believe t is still in some 0 - 3 months maybe because my t is long or big he has been in 3 to 6 since beg dec, btw had him weighed yesterday and is 16lb 12 and is over the 50th so is a fatty!!Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

Was busy yesterday so *hugs all round* and yay for achievements :j
Went to boot camp last night and it was bitterly cold. Someone was hiding in the bushes and wolf whistling at us :rotfl:
Been to the doctors this morning as I'm still having bother with my sinuses, and a blocked nose that trickles down the back of my throat. Had a good chat and he's referred me back to the ENT consultant. He gave me her secretary's number and said to ring direct as it would be much quicker than going through the proper procedure. Rang just now and she's had a cancellation so she can see me at the hospital on Friday morning. Can't complain at the service there
GP was very sympathetic and understood how frustrating it is and he said we need to get it sorted as it's gone on far too long now. He said I have to be open minded about surgery and maybe have it if that's what it's going to take to fix things.
I'm terrified of anaesthetics thoughHere I go again on my own....0 -
SS I find blood donating criteria a bit excessive, I've not been able to as I've had a transfusion, but i know people who get turned away lots due to odd reasons!
Beccles that is good service! Not so good having anaethetic though (i'm terrified too) hope everything goes ok, what is the procedure if you dont mind me asking?
SirM maybe my 0-3 stuff is just big then... as T is very long (really must measure him out of curiousity!) he is wearing a 3-6 romper which fits ok, but sleepsuits, tops, trousers, etc are massive on him. He wore a sleepsuit the other day that was first size LOL I do think it may have stretched though!!! 16lbs 12 is a great weight, T's weight isn't very accurate as we weigh him on our scales!
T made me laugh before; he was in his bouncer squealing at a monkey teddy on the sofa (one that goes in the microwave I had been using for my back) so I gave it to him and he continued squealing and rubbing his cheek on it, I was just folding a blanket on the sofa (he naps on the sofa in the afternoon while I sit by him) and when I looked down he was fast asleep!! He slept 2 hours hugging the monkey! might use that again!0 -

It's a sinus op. The GP said there are several operations they can do depending on what the ENT consultant thinks is the best thing to do. He said she would discuss that further. Here I go again on my own....0 -

Hello Everyone
To start with I'm sorry I haven't been online for a while, it all just got a bit too much a few weeks ago, and I just didn't have time.
I'm also a little late in announcing the birth on the 8th Jan of my baby girl Darcy Grace weighing 7lbs 3.5oz at 21.46pm, she is an angel, she is feeding well, sleeping could be a little better as she is a little greedy at night! Her big brother adores her, he likes to give her kisses and cuddles!
Parenthood with 2 is going to be so different, mum has been here looking after me and then goes home on friday and then the in-laws are each coming at some point in the next 2 weeks. Then my support network kicks in, and I have to do normal life on my own with the children which if I'm honest scares the life out of me!
Anyway I wanted to say hi and that I hope to get on a bit more now.

Twoflower - congratulations on the birth of Darcy Grace. No apologies needed about not being around - you have far greater things to cope with. I'm not surprised you find the whole thing a bit daunting, but I'm sure you'll be fine, and if you ever need to rant, cry, laugh or just have 2mins to yourself - please come and post here.0
