Can I ask when/how/who does your housework as I never seem to have the time and DH comes home in a mood every night as the house is like a 'bomb site'. He leaves at 8 home at 7, t doesn't really nap at home so I go out at lunchtime ish so I get a break, plus has stopped napping in morning!! Also t decides to be unsettled like till 8/9ish so I am usuall bathing/feeding from 6/7 tilll 8 then trying to settle him so don't fancy doing it then. He seems ok on the gym for a bit plus can put in him the cot for a bit but also feel like I need to do things like eat (!) have a shower, laundry so never seem to have the time to do washing up or cleaning. To be honest I think me not doing chores is really annoying him and is annoying me that doesn't appreciate lack of time or what I do do,any advice welcome as could drive us apart?
i do a big clean up when its DH day off and he can watch K. other than that when K was 1st born i did it all when he was asleep.
As he got older i put him in his bouncer and did it then.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

Sir M - just a 1 minute dust here and a 1 minute put away there helps amazingly well;) Check out the flylady thread and do a mini list of what little housework jobs you'd like to achieve each day/week.
Congrats twoflower:)BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Sir M I do most of the housework, either when Miss M's napping (about 40 minutes before lunch and then again around 4:30-5pm) or while Husband's here to keep her from chasing behind me and making a mess or to take her out so I can vacuum. Husband does dishes if he needs the sink and it's full
but mostly it's me and I fit it in as and when. Luckily, he's so used to my rather inept housekeeping that as long as things are tidy and wiped down he thinks I've made a massive effort :rotfl:

Congrats twoflower:)
I was a 4 pint vampire earlier this year  I am also thankful to people that do itand grateful that they don't make you drink it :rotfl:
Susan, it is very strange. I was 36 wees PG with Squeak when it started, with a numb leg. Before long I couldn't really walk either! it made me walk like I'd had 8 or 9 drinks too many, before my right leg stopped working. which is not a good thing for a heavily pregnant lady in the daytime. Got me some evil looks I can tell you.
Think the worst moment was OH having to push me round tesco's in a wheelchair because I could basically shuffle along by walls or attempt (badly) to get to grips with crutches! OMG it was like a white knuckle ride with him almost running with it  but we had to go to tescos because I'd been told I had to be admitted to wait for an induction space and only had two decent PJ sets
I don't think the neuro was really paying attention, he hadn't even read all the paperwork about me (have great GP and the emergency consultant was lovely but they sent him a mountain of it apparently!) so I'm still not sure it's T but hey ho just have to see what happens. I''ll be overjoyed if it is a one off though :rotfl:
At the moment it's not giving me too much grief, it's just everything else! My little brother says I need a new body
I am glad you're out of hospital, everyone has been thinking of you.
OH has painted the twin's room and the hallway :TMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Housework is done during naps (in tornado-like fashion), in the evening after he's in bed, when DH is off and can mind baby OR DH is home and does some himself
(he's very good, generally looks after the kitchen). Maybe if you tackle the napping issue, some of the rest will fall into place? If he starts napping properly, you'll have more time in the evenings, too, and generally be less tired and more free for housework. I know it's MUCH easier said than done, it took us many months of exhaustion to get there, but we learned that naps definitely go hand-in-hand with good sleep at night, too.

I do it when she naps in the morning - but I only do the bare minimum to keep the place looking tidy. When the kids go to bed about 8 I'll have a quick tidy up of toys, washing etc. OH doesn't really notice mess but it drives me mad.0 -
Huge congratulations Twoflower. :T I love her name. I haven't been posting much on MSE lately, but I keep [STRIKE]stalking[/STRIKE] reading to see if your baby has made an appearance yet. It's a sinus op. The GP said there are several operations they can do depending on what the ENT consultant thinks is the best thing to do. He said she would discuss that further.
I will be stalking you to see what happens. The left hand side of my face has been dreadful since scuba diving years ago. I had a couple of years being passed from Dr to dentist, until the Dr finally said it was a sinus problem. He said that there are 'procedures' they can do, but because it only flares up a couple of times a year, it's probably better to cope with it. He did mention sinus flushing?, which sounded unpleasant and would leave me with a couple of black eyes!
Sir M To be honest, apart for taking stuff out of the living room into the kitchen etc, the proper living room tidy happens when the children have gone to bed. It's just not worth it before then.
Apart from a Wednesday when V goes to her Nanas for the day and the big two are at school, I clean/tidy in the morning and it stays lovely until 3.30pm.:beer:0 -
Twoflower - congratulations on your new baby. I love the name too. I hope you keep popping in every now and then.0

He's now had another feed, three changes (wee, post-feed poo, post-feed milk spit up all over his clothes!) and is fast asleep in the basket again in the living room
Thank you to everyone for all the advice - I don't expect this behaviour to last but it's lovely for now.
Also, you were right about the blood test - he felt nothing, very brave boyBaby Giz born 6/2/110
