I have one pair of Animal boots (birthday present lol) and they are quite stiff sheepskin and I struggle to zip them up over my fat legs :( I'm saving them for when I'm a bit thinner so as not to stretch them, I quite like the look of the woolly boots but I expect they'll have stopped doing them now I said that.

    Enjoy your Holiday Vroombroom :D

  • I have such fat, funny shaped calves that i have NEVER been able to get boots to fit-even in my (much) younger, (much) skinnier days!! I would love a nice pair of calf or knee high boots.
I did convince DH to take me to DUO in Bath where they do loads of different width fittings of boots, and got a lovely pair that cost £100, which I thought was quite reasonable-the only problem was I was 6 months pregnant with DS2 and by the following winter I had completely changed shape everywhre and they just would not go on lol Never mind, i sold them on e-bay for about £75 so £25 for a winters use of a really decent pair of boots wasn't too bad lol
I really need something really comfy, and fairly waterproof as i have about a 1/2 hour walk to and from school. And ideally something mid-calf that i would be able to tuck my trousers into so they don't catch on the floor if it's raining so I dont have to change trousers 3 times a day because they've got wet round the bottoms lol
Oh and furry lined would be nie as well, to keep my tootsies warm, and a decent grip so I don't fall over when it's slippy (I am unbelievably clumsy! lol)

hmmmm........might go and have a surf in a minute to see what i can find-might be able to persuade dh that I need a xmas pressie early lol

Anyway, been e-baying-got a peppa pig bundle on at the minute that is already on more that i was expecting/would have been happy with and i've still got over 3 days left-that will be going on boots...ooopppssss...i mean XMAS!! lol
  • Not sure what boots I'll fit into post baby, have got some nice cardi type uggs but not good in the wet or snow!! Guess need to get some nice smart ones too - like you mi3 need to do it baby free or can to do on internet as cba with shops anymore. Although want to go to poundland tomorrow (must be mad) as a lady at group said they did fake iphones for kids!

Squeak exhausted himself at group, so tired when got home half asleep changing his nappy, much easier than trying to roll off.

Have a nice holiday vroombroom, we booked butlins with the groupon offer - first time in a 'family' holiday place, bit different to our last proper holiday on safari!

I'm off shopping tomorrow as well with or without my rabble lol they are all at home now having been with family for a couple of days.

Yes the cardi boots are the ones I like though not proper ugg ones... getting that much cash out of me is like pulling teeth lol

Squeak is currently chuckling at Gigglebiz which the twins left on :) I think they all love Justin Fletcher lol

    Hi all,

Teenie - just wanted to say Poppy isn't sleeping well at min so you aren't alone. She has got a little bit better last two days though as bought her a sleeping bag and seems to help as she always kicks blanket off.

Have a great holiday Vroom! Hope the nursery sessions go ok.

Henry is continually coming into our bed at the moment. The only good thing is a) I dont hear him and b) he always goes on OH's side. I know he is older but it is funny when you dont hear him come in and then he is there in the morning.

Day off today to do loads of washing, cooking, tidying etc. Just dont get the time at the weekend with Lo's about and hubby. Have made lemon curd, chocolate cake and jam another cake to go and some biscuits plus other bits. 2 loads of washing on line and just writing my shopping list.

Did you all see about the free open house heritage days next week on the weekly email, we're probably off to one of the railways as they will be free so very :money:!!
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.
