oooh we dont have bed invaders.. Moomin (8) appeared the night after they got back from camp.. think she just wanted a cuddle.. though she didnt want to cuddle me and was all snuggled up with OH.. I almost felt neglected!

Ive just had cuddles and kisses from slobber chops.. :D She sat up about 8.. guzzled a full 12oz beaker of juice and went back to sleep until 9 when I accidentally woke her when I got up.. she had had the beaker refilled 3 times since then.. no wonder she is always wet!

She has a favourite book... head, shoulders, knees and toes... she loves it.. :D We like books in our house!

Today I am going to sort the babys toys out.. :D.. I have decided the lockable cupboard is going to contain my christmas food stash and my yummies and maybe a few other bits I need to hide away.. I will have order in this chaos! And I have made the decision the jumperoo can go away until the baby needs it.

  • Squeak was in our bed this morning after waking at half 5 like you Delain, didn't know he had woken and DH had fed him then brought him in!! I then put him back into his cot and slept till nearly 9. Think his teeth are hurting him as was very upset until paracetamol given.

Got very excited that got a fake ifone (yes spelt like that) and blackberry toy phone for him at the poundshop!!

Maz may look into that meant to be nice tomorrow.

Hello hope everybody is keeping well. I have spent the last few hours packing up all the clothes that my children have outgrown and have managed to fill 4 bin bags! We now have some wardrobe space again for their winter clothes to go in which is helpful as it has been cold here and am going to have to get some for them very soon.

Does anybody know if any charities will take an electric sterilizer that was used for 2 weeks and unused baby bottles at all as I would hate to throw them in the bin if somebody could make use of them?

Took DD to Doc last week and he took swabs and a urine sample, the swabs have come back clear and I have to redo the sample but she is getting so distressed at night with it. Her bottom (front) is ok before bed but flares up at night and is red and extremely sore. Doc gave us thrush cream just in case it was that but it doesn't seem to be helping so we have gone back to using sudocreme, has anyone else been through this and any tips?

DS is 17 weeks tomorrow (can't believe it!!) and has his first tooth, is this going to put him off his milk? I am breasfeeding but he gets a formula bottle at night. Last week he was taking an 8 oz bottle and feeding every 2 hours but this week he is has only taken 4oz last night and 2oz the night before and is going longer between breastfeeds but then wakening up more often during the night, it's playing havoc with my supply!! TBH I am totally shattered and it has been an easy ride up to now, I am very lucky I know, but don't know what has hit me!!

Just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who recommended me stopping using the sudocreme and start using germolene......DD didn't wake up at all last night and for the past couple of nights hasn't needed any extra cream on :D one very very happy Mummy!!

Jamies second tooth came through yesterday and as soon as it was through he went back to feeding nearly normally....thank goodness it has been a very tiring week with the pair of them but I think/hope things are back on track now! :)

Teenie - glad the cream worked and both children are sleeping a bit better! I keep seeing teethin signs with Poppy but no signs yet!

I found it strange to wake up last night and Poppy be in her bed haha, she seems to slowly be getting better with her sleeping.

Vroombroom hope you enjoy your holiday!

Teenie I am glad you found something that worked for your daughter. Sorry I had no idea at all of what to suggest so just kept quiet.

Glad Poppy is settling a bit better in her cot Wendz. I am dreading that stage as both of my sons did not make the transition very easily.

My LO woke at 5.30 this morning and wanted up for the day. Changed her nappy and gave her a bottle and persuaded her to sleep for another hour. I'm knackered now!

We went to a friend's for lunch. She has a two year old and a 9 week old and two other friends were there with their 7 week old and 3 year old. My LO was a total angel! She played on the floor with toys while I had my lunch and then sat happily on my knee having a cuddle for an hour while we chatted. Everyone kept asking if she was like this all the time. They couldn't believe how good she was.
