OMG I popped into the nearest town keeping in mind being back by 5 which meant all of 30 minutes to get what I need and get out lol.... Chucked a vest top on and OMG did it slide down and show off far more than I'd like  so I had to dash into new look and buy the cheapest proper top I could find! Poor girl at the till asked if I wanted a bag I was like no, I just want to get changed! She laughed and took the labels off for me lol

Watch now the horrors won't be back till 7 and we could have gone further afield and taken longer, but I wasn't prepared for how hot it is out there. Gone from looking like rain to extreme heat since this morning.

Did manage to get some cereal though, twin2 is really picky about breakfast.

Oh and christmas paper so I can wrap up and stash my book people order that arrived today lol

If it's that bad you can give them cereal :rotfl: no cooking required!

We are having a fish fingers and chips day :o

Honestly if I lived alone I'd never get a cooked dinner :p

DD1 asked for Domino's pizza :eek: Told her she'd have to behave first as that's a treat not something you get for being a cheeky mare like she's been!

Oh.. has anyone tried the calpol melt things for 6+ ????

No but would she take soluble paracetamol? If you dissolve it in squash, it doesn't taste as horrible and mine used it until they could swallow tablets.

I've been busy with work today and I'm tired, so I chucked breaded chicken fillets and oven chips in the oven for tea :o

Still tired from the caravan. Charlotte and me were in a double bed, but she thrashes about all night and it felt like I was sleeping with an angry octopus. She kept yelling out random words too, so I didn't get a lot of sleep :o

Nope she wont have them.. she is a nightmare with medicine.. complete contrast to my others! She says it is spiky on her tongue.. I think she means bitter when it gets to the gritty bit at the bottom.

These are strawberry flavour apparently so the same as the medicine.. I hoped..

I am building up my store of snot and grot drugs for the winter.. it got very depleted when Squeak had pneumonia..

I'd be a !!!!!y Mam and say take it or suffer in pain :o

It's worth a try if there is nothing else she will take. I've used Immodium Melts before and they do work quickly.

She has cerebral palsy and gets massive muscle spasms and is on growth hormone replacement so she has growing pains as well.. and ALL the pain is centred in her back, hips and legs.. and she only complains when it is so bad she cant sleep or walk or it properly she is normall very good so I know if she says it hurts it is really bad :(

Oooops sorry - I didn't realise. Poor little thing :(

I'm used to two boys training to be men, where every minor thing is perceived to be a million times worse than it really is. The other day James was whinging on about something trivial and I told him it sounded like it could be hypochondria.

Then later he couldn't set the table for tea, as he said he had bad hypochondria :rotfl:

He went crackers when I told him what hypochondria means:o
